Hi, this is Siwoo :) I recently visited a really special and charming café in Namak, Muan, South Jeolla — GRAY LAZY!

GRAY LAZY sits on the 2nd floor of a building, and oddly enough there's no big flashy signboard out front — which honestly made me even more curious. Muan café GRAY LAZY feels like one of those hidden gems only insiders know about.

GRAY LAZY's exact concept is 'a leisurely gray zone in the city.' True to the name, the overall calm gray-toned interior paired with sensory lighting creates a mood that's both stylish and deeply relaxing.

Muan café GRAY LAZY felt even more special because it's dog-friendly! In one corner of the store, there are thoughtfully prepared dedicated cups and soft cushions for pets — this would be heaven for anyone coming here to relax with their pup. If you're looking for a dog-friendly café in Muan, this is it!

What's on the GRAY LAZY menu?

Here's the GRAY LAZY menu! I was surprised by how varied the drink menu was — coffee, non-coffee drinks, this month's brewing coffee, handmade cold brew, and fragrant teas. It'd be fun to pick different things even with a friend who has different tastes.

They also have handmade pudding and churros made fresh every day, both great desserts to pair with coffee! Since they're made fresh daily, I ordered a handmade custard pudding too!

Ordering at GRAY LAZY: write it on paper, hand it to the counter

Another fun thing unique to GRAY LAZY is the ordering system. Unlike typical cafés that use a kiosk or take verbal orders, here you look at the menu board, write what you want on paper yourself, and hand it to the counter! I could take my time thinking it over and decide calmly, which was great for someone as indecisive as me! That analog feel — haha!

Jumbo-ice iced coffee and ₩5,000 handmade custard pudding

Pouring coffee myself over a big chunk of jumbo ice was fun, and the clean, refreshing bean flavor was perfect too!

The handmade custard pudding (₩5,000) had a wonderfully jiggly texture that melted smoothly in my mouth. Sweet without being overwhelming — I really enjoyed it!
