So I actually quit coffee for a while,,^^ yeah but I couldn't hold out and I'm drinking it again haha. Anyway, maybe because dieting is on my mind these days, a product caught my eye. It's Health House's Heorissok Waist Cut Diet Coffee, Dark Americano flavor!

Honestly if you've seen my blog before you know I'm the laziest of the lazy, I hate anything that's a hassle,,,um,,,inconvenient. So for dieting too I prefer something not annoying and sustainable, and this was basically no different from the coffee I drink every day, so I really liked that.

First off, the packaging is clean, period. It doesn't even look like a diet product, honestly it feels just like Kanu instant coffee mix!

What is Heorissok Dark Americano diet coffee?

Health House's Heorissok Diet Coffee — the one I tried is the Diet Dark Americano flavor. The feature of this diet coffee is that it focuses on carbohydrate management!

It contains HCA, garcinia cambogia extract, which is said to help suppress carbohydrates from being converted into fat. I'd heard about garcinia from dieting friends a few times, so it was familiar to me!

Of course, eating just this one product alone won't make you lose weight, so I think it's good to think of it as something to use alongside your regular coffee habit, on top of managing your diet and exercise,,^^

Heorissok Diet Coffee had 30 sticks total inside! Since it's a stick format, it's easy to carry not just at home but to the office or when going out.

Especially the fact that one cup a day meets the daily intake means you don't have to remember to take it multiple times — as a lazy person, I really appreciate that haha

I opened the packet and poured it into a cup! Honestly it didn't look much different from regular Kanu powder. And since this is my first time ever trying this kind of product, I worried it might taste bad,,, but the smell was just straight-up coffee smell, so I felt a bit relieved from that point,,

I poured hot water into it to drink,,haha<<< wait what? with cake. For something sweet you gotta have hot coffee right haha. Thinking about it, having a diet coffee with cake feels a bit like leaving through the open church door and locking it behind you, but; anyway since it's a diet coffee that manages carbs, my guilt was a little lessened,,,haha

How does it taste? Rich Americano from Colombian coffee powder

A rich Americano taste using Colombian coffee powder! When you hear "diet coffee," as I mentioned, the first worry is always taste, right ㅠ Even if it has functional ingredients, I don't want to give up on the coffee flavor — but this product, maybe because it uses Colombian coffee powder, had a fairly strong coffee aroma and taste!!!

Hmm how do I put it — if you did a blind taste test against Kanu coffee, you'd never guess. Like the name says, it's in the dark Americano category, clean but rich, good for people who like strong coffee! I'm a huge fan of Kanu Americano so it really suited my taste. My friend who drank it with me said it genuinely tasted good and asked if it was just regular coffee.

Does Heorissok Dark Americano dissolve in cold water for iced coffee?

It dissolves well in cold water! Usually powdered coffee only dissolves properly in hot water, but this one dissolves fairly well even in cold water, so it's good to drink as an iced Americano too.

If you're like me and want to tackle dieting and coffee at the same time efficiently, I highly recommend using something like this instead of your usual coffee. That said, diet coffee should only ever be thought of as a supplement to your diet and exercise, and it's best to follow the intake amount and method shown on the product!
