Hi everyone! Today I want to introduce a brunch spot near Gangnam Station. The space was filled with sunlight and honestly felt more like a pretty café than a restaurant, and every single dish was both delicious and photogenic — a treat for the eyes and the tongue. Here's my lunch review from The Mignon Seoul, a brunch favorite near Gangnam Station!
Where is The Mignon Seoul, and what are its hours?
The Mignon Seoul is a Western-style restaurant at 25 Gangnam-daero 102-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. It's open Mon–Thu 10:00–22:00 (with a break from 15:00–17:00), closed Friday, September 25 for Chuseok, and open Sat–Sun 10:00–22:00.

It's about a 5-minute walk from Sinnonhyeon Station on Line 9 and the Sinbundang Line, so it's easy to reach by public transit. Parking on-site is tough though, so you'll want to use a nearby public parking lot if you're driving.
Inside The Mignon Seoul: two sunlit floors near Sinnonhyeon Station

The Mignon Seoul is a spacious Western restaurant spread across two floors, and the moment I walked in, the light was so good I immediately thought this would be a perfect spot for brunch! There were tables for two, tables for four, and group seating, so it looked great for a date with a friend or partner, or even a group gathering.
The Mignon Seoul menu and prices: what we ordered for lunch

The menu at The Mignon Seoul is organized into brunch, salads, pasta and risotto, gnocchi, mains, appetizers, and drinks/alcohol, with well-put-together set menus too. After some deliberation, I went with what looked like the best sellers: truffle mushroom gnocchi (₩23,000), popover pancakes (₩18,000), and passion orange juice (₩8,000).
Passion orange juice, 8,000 won: how does it taste?

The tableware at The Mignon Seoul is so pretty, isn't it, haha. The passion orange juice we ordered first came out — the combination of orange juice and passionfruit's tangy aroma was really lovely together. It was sweet and paired perfectly with the food. The juice menu here is so creative and everything looked delicious, so you might have a hard time deciding, haha.
Truffle mushroom gnocchi, 23,000 won: the best gnocchi in Gangnam?

Finally, the main dish — the gnocchi — arrived, and the plating was stunning, haha. It was a dish, but it looked like a painting. The gnocchi was well-seared, crisp outside and tender inside, keeping that fluffy, potato-like texture. The thick bacon, mushrooms, and truffle aroma all came together beautifully, and eating gnocchi + sauce + bacon + mushroom in one bite hit the seasoning perfectly and tasted amazing. It's genuinely one of the best gnocchi dishes I've ever had — I'll definitely order it again next time I come back.
Popover pancakes at 18,000 won: what comes on the plate

Next up were the popover pancakes — fluffy but with a slightly charred edge, topped with arugula, cherry tomatoes, bacon, cream cheese, and banana brûlée. It felt like it could be a meal on its own, but thanks to the banana brûlée it also had a strong brunch vibe.
Final verdict: who should book a table at The Mignon Seoul
Overall, The Mignon Seoul was great for a relaxed meal in a bright, pretty space, and I was satisfied with how the food looked as good as it tasted. Of everything we ordered, the truffle mushroom gnocchi was the most memorable — genuinely delicious. The popover pancakes were also a less common dish, great for anyone wanting a different kind of brunch.
It's an easy walk from Sinnonhyeon Station, and the restaurant itself is quite spacious, so it's worth keeping in mind if you're looking for a nice-atmosphere brunch spot for a date or friend hangout around Gangnam or Sinnonhyeon. Next time I visit, I'm definitely ordering the truffle mushroom gnocchi again, haha.
