Where is MUG, and is parking convenient?

MUG (카페 먹) is a large café at 90 Hyangsan-dagae-ro, Sangbuk-myeon, Ulju-gun, Ulsan. According to the original post, it is open daily from 10:00 to 20:00, with last orders at 19:30.

Set on the slopes near Eonyang, this was my third visit. It was busy again with families, couples, and guests visiting with their parents. The large parking lot has been convenient every time I have visited.

What scenery can you see outside the café?

I heard this site had been used to grow landscaping trees for more than 20 years. After experiencing a wildfire, it was reshaped into a place where people could stay by planting trees again and making paths. Knowing that story made me look at the surrounding scenery differently.

The entrance had a modern exterior, and the colorful zinnias planted outside caught my eye.

On the day I visited, it was nice to pause and look at the blue sky. The cooling weather made autumn feel close.

Can you enjoy an exhibition and views indoors?

There was a small gallery at the entrance to the interior, so I took my time looking around the works. The exhibition introduced in the original post was “Between Stopovers,” featuring works that capture the light, colors, people, and scenery encountered while staying somewhere away from everyday life. The listed exhibition dates were Sep 5–30, 2026, from 10:00 to 20:00.

After viewing the works and entering the café, the large windows gave the space an open feel. The outdoor scenery was visible from both the front and back, so it did not feel closed in.

Could I choose bread in the afternoon?

The bakery displayed many kinds of bread. They looked appetizing, so I looked over them one by one before choosing.

I visited in the afternoon after lunch, and some trays had few breads left. Still, I saw staff regularly come out to check the displays and replenish the bread.

How were the MUG Lemon Smoothie and desserts?

There was also a wide selection of drinks.

I ordered an Americano, a MUG Lemon Smoothie, and chestnut cheesecake.

The Americano tasted clean. I liked the signature MUG Lemon Smoothie because it was tart without being overly sweet, and I also enjoyed the chestnut cheesecake.

Can you walk outside or stay with a pet?

The weather was cool that day, so many guests were seated at the outdoor tables. There is a walking trail behind the café, and it looked nice for a light walk after eating.

The notice said pets are allowed only in the outdoor areas.

When is the bubble show for children?

When bubbles were floating through the air, I could see children and adults enjoying them together. It made me happy to watch, and it looked nice for taking photos of children.

According to the original post, the bubble show takes place on weekends and public holidays at 13:00 and 15:00, for 30 minutes each. It may change or be canceled depending on rain or on-site conditions.

Even on my third visit, I liked being able to enjoy the exhibition and outdoor scenery alongside coffee and dessert. It felt like a nice place to stop by and spend time with family or a partner.
