Like Like Juyeop Branch is split into indoor and outdoor areas, and with a large dog the outdoor tables are the easier choice. Indoors there were about 6–7 four-person tables, and outside there were 2 tables.

The weather was so nice the day I visited that dog owners were sitting at the outdoor tables, and with the warm sun and cool breeze it actually felt more relaxed than indoors. With a large dog especially, I thought the outdoor space would be more comfortable than the cramped indoor seats. If you want a dog-friendly spot in Ilsan where you can still have a quiet brunch, this layout is a welcome one.

What's the brunch menu like at Like Like Juyeop Branch?

The menu has plenty of brunch-friendly options: plates, paninis, sandwiches, poke and salads. Lots of simple dishes that still make a filling meal.

There's a range from light bites to go with coffee to things that easily replace a meal, so you can choose by taste. When you visit a café with your dog, it's a shame to just have coffee and leave, but Like Like has a solid brunch menu, so I liked that you can sit back and have a proper meal.

The dog brunch set for your pup

True to a pet-friendly café, Like Like Juyeop Branch also has a brunch set for dogs (the "meong" brunch set), which caught my eye. It's not just the humans having brunch; you can treat the dog you brought too, which felt very dog-café. When you come with a dog you usually only think about the human menu, so having this means your dog gets a little treat as well.

Ordering the bulgogi panini set and smoked duck poke

I ordered the beef bulgogi double-cheese panini set and, à la carte, the smoked duck poke with 80g of brown rice. The price difference between à la carte and a set was ₩4,000, depending on the menu item. With a set you can choose potato cream soup and a drink.

I ordered the panini as a set, choosing potato cream soup as the side and grapefruit juice as the drink. Drink choices are grapefruit juice, orange juice, milk, cider (lemon-lime soda) or cola, and if you switch to another drink you get it at 50% off.

I ordered the smoked duck poke à la carte, and it came with balsamic sauce so you can add it to taste.

Ordering the panini and the poke together gave us a warm dish and a fairly light one at once, which made a nice combination for two people.

Parking and visit perks at Like Like Juyeop Branch

Parking is free for 2 hours on weekdays and 1 hour 30 minutes on weekends, so driving there felt less of a burden. If you book ahead through Naver, you also get one of a hot latte, potato cream soup or a dog Greek yogurt churu (a squeezable treat).
