Sarangjip is a pork kimchi grill restaurant on Ajuro 39beon-gil, right in front of Ajou University in Suwon, Gyeonggi. Two people shared the signature pork kimchi grill for 19,000 won plus a bomb-sized steamed egg custard for 3,000 won, then turned the leftover rice into self-serve fried rice at the table. Suwon restaurant for LP music and meatball baguette: Nonchalant Lounge

Nonchalant Lounge is a lounge-style Western restaurant on Jeongjo-ro in Haenggung-dong, Suwon, near Janganmun Gate. A dinner for two at Nonchalant Lounge came to homemade meatballs with French baguette at 23,000 won, bisque rose pasta at 19,000 won, truffle bulgogi risotto at 18,000 won and the signature lemon draft beer at 5,500 won, with LP speaker music and soft lighting setting the mood. Nonchalant Lounge works well as an evening date spot to pair with a walk along the Haenggung-dong fortress wall.
