Forerest (포어레스트, FORAREST) is a big café in Uijeongbu famous for its atmosphere. I'm totally hooked on hunting down pretty cafés lately, and it already looked lovely in photos, but once I actually went I immediately got why everyone calls it a great-view, big café. From the moment you walk in it's full of vibes, so I took tons of photos and got some proper healing in too.🤍

I think they said parking fits 200 cars. A huge plus if you're driving!!!!! ♡

There were several kinds of cheesecake at the Forerest counter, and I ordered two teas and a Basque cheesecake! So many cakes that choosing was hard.🥹

The wood-tone interior was really pretty from the entrance, and the soft lighting made the whole place feel cozy. The paintings and small props on the walls were all tasteful too, so just looking around was fun.

As a big café, it's very spacious and not stuffy at all. Each floor has a slightly different mood, which made exploring fun, and wherever you sit the photos seem to come out pretty! It'd be great for a date or for chatting with friends.

The tea I ordered at Forerest had a really subtle aroma. It wasn't too sweet and tasted clean, so it went really well with the cheesecake.

It was fragrant and nice to sip slowly, and even the cup and tray were pretty, which made photos fun. You can tell they care about even a single drink, so I was happy!

Personally, the Basque cheesecake was what I liked best at Forerest that day. The fork cut through it smoothly, and the first bite had a deep cheese flavor.

It was moist yet dense and gooey, so good, and not very sweet, so I could finish it without feeling weighed down. It goes really well with coffee or tea! I see why people call it a cake hotspot.

Wherever you point the camera at Forerest, it's full of mood. The wood interior, pretty lighting, vintage props, big paintings and plants all photograph so atmospherically that I kept pressing the shutter.

Putting the tray on the table and shooting it really brings out that cozy-café feel. It was a lovely space for posting on social media.

Is the Forerest outdoor terrace worth visiting at night?

Definitely go see the Forerest outdoor terrace! It's full of trees like you're in a forest, and at night the soft lights make it a real photo spot.🥹

I looked around the terrace after eating and wow... even though it's a city café, it felt like being in nature, which I loved. On a cool day, having coffee on the terrace would be so healing.

I feel like I finally found a café I really like again after a long time. It's spacious with varied seating, so it's great for staying a while, and above all the overall atmosphere was so comfortable.

The cake was delicious, the drinks were satisfying and the staff were friendly, so I had a lovely time. Visiting at night especially is worth it, since the view out the window and the terrace mood are so pretty.🌙✨ Next time I want to try the other cheesecakes and the Jeju green tea latte. (๑˃ᴗ˂)ﻭ♡
