Bucheon men's hair salon for a cut and down perm: Ieum Men's Hair

My son's hair had grown quite long, so we visited Ieum Men's Hair Bucheon City Hall Station Branch (이움 맨즈헤어 부천시청역점) for a cut and down perm. I booked it after looking for a place that specializes in men's hair.

Where is it, and how were parking and the reserved visit?

We made a reservation for a weekday afternoon and drove there. The salon is on the third floor of the building at 30 Seokcheon-ro 169beon-gil, Wonmi-gu, Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do, in front of Bucheon City Hall Station, and parking was available in the building.

The hours listed in the original post were 11:00–21:00 on weekdays and 10:00–20:00 on weekends. We arrived at our reservation time and started without a long wait.

At the time of our visit, there was also information about a reservation-required discount promotion based on the number of visits: 30% off the first visit, 20% off the second, and 10% off the third. I could not tell when the promotion would end.

Was the service space comfortable?

When we entered, the salon was bright and clean. I was impressed by the one-to-one layout, with each seat in a separate space, and the shampoo area was clean too.

My son was able to get his hair done comfortably without sitting close to other people. The atmosphere was quiet, so it may be useful to note for those who value separated spaces.

How did they discuss the desired style before the cut?

The manager carefully asked about the length he wanted and what had been inconvenient in his usual routine. After looking at his head shape and hair texture, they explained a direction that would suit him, which was easy to understand.

My son's hair was shaped naturally without cutting it too short. They also carefully tidied the side line and sideburns.

How much were the cut and down perm?

The services we chose that day were a ₩30,000 cut and a ₩30,000 down perm. The original post also listed the manager-level down perm and cut together at ₩60,000.

The listed prices by staff level were ₩25,000 for a designer cut, ₩30,000 for a manager cut, and ₩40,000 for a director cut. The down perm and cut together were listed as ₩50,000 with a designer and ₩60,000 with a manager.

How did the side hair change after the cut and down perm?

They naturally tidied his grown-out hair and added a down perm to reduce the way the sides stuck out.

Afterward, the side hair was noticeably flatter and the sideburn line looked neat. Because they did not take off too much overall length, the natural look my son wanted remained.

They kindly explained the process as they worked, so I felt comfortable leaving it to them. Once they finished, they checked the overall balance again.

My son liked his neater side hair and sideburns and said we should come here again. I could see the before-and-after difference too, so I would like to leave it with the same manager again.
