Bupyeong lamb skewer restaurant: hand-grilled ribs at Neukdaewa Yang
In short
Neukdaewa Yang is a lamb skewer restaurant near Gulpocheon Station in Bupyeong, Incheon. I ordered two servings of signature lamb rib skewers, guobaorou, and Zero Coke; the lamb was tender and free of any gamey smell to me, though I had to turn the skewers by hand.

How do you get there from Gulpocheon Station, and is parking available?
I visited Neukdaewa Yang (늑대와양) Samsan Branch at 11:30 AM on a Monday because I wanted lamb. It is in Units 201–202, 21 Chungseon-ro 209beon-gil, Bupyeong-gu, Incheon, and the original post says it is 358 m from Exit 8 of Gulpocheon Station.

The hours posted at the time of my visit were 11:30 AM to 11:00 PM daily, with last orders at 10:30 PM. It was stated that there were no regular closing days.
Parking information said to use the building garage or a nearby public parking lot. However, spaces are limited, and the original post also says parking is available after 6 PM on weekdays or on weekends. Since it is unclear which lot those conditions apply to, check parking availability with the restaurant before visiting.

How were the group seating and table amenities?
The interior was spacious, with seating toward the back that seemed well suited to company dinners or gatherings. The restaurant facilities were clean when I visited, so I ate comfortably.

It was humid and hot because it rained that day, and they gave each person a small fan when we sat down. I had sweated a little on the walk over, so I turned it on right away; it was nice and cool while grilling the skewers too.
Each table had its own seasonings: signature soy sauce, special chogochujang sauce, Maldon salt, lamb skewer seasoning, cumin, and spicy chili powder. The condiment containers were clean, and their labels were easy to read.

What did I order, and how much did it cost?
Along with several kinds of lamb skewers, there were dishes such as mala tang and guobaorou (sweet-and-sour fried pork). I considered the couple set, then chose two servings of signature lamb rib skewers and added guobaorou. There were alcoholic and zero-sugar drinks, but since I had driven, I ordered Zero Coke.

- Signature lamb rib skewers, 2 servings: ₩29,000
- Guobaorou: ₩19,000
- Zero Coke: ₩2,000
- Order total listed in the original post: ₩50,000
What was at the self-service bar?
The self-service bar had zhacai (pickled mustard stem), pickled chili peppers, peanuts, raw garlic, and Cheongyang chili peppers. We liked the zhacai best. Bowls, spoons, tongs, and several seasonings were also available.

How do you grill the lamb rib skewers, and how did they taste?
The signature lamb rib skewers had a good balance of fat and lean meat. They looked different even from the lamb skewers I usually eat.

The two skewers in this dish were connected, so they did not rotate automatically. I had to turn them by hand to cook them evenly.

When I removed the cooked meat with tongs, juices ran out. It was not tough and stayed moist inside, and I did not notice any gamey smell. I especially liked the savory richness of the fat and the tender texture.

With cumin and lamb skewer sauce, it was salty and lightly spicy. The soy sauce was spicy too and cut through the richness of the meat, which I think was because it contained Cheongyang chili peppers.

That day, they gave us sushi rice as a service item to eat with the lamb ribs. The meat paired well with the rice, and I also liked adding wasabi or lamb skewer sauce.
How were the guobaorou and Zero Coke I ordered with it?
The guobaorou was coated in a thick sauce. Once I cut it into bite-size pieces, a strong tangy aroma came through.

The meat inside was thick and moist. The tangy sauce suited my taste, so I enjoyed it with the lamb rib skewers.

The Zero Coke was ₩2,000. The handle they provided made it convenient to drink.
