Sashimi takeout in Yangyang: Eosiljang Sashimi Takeout

For dinner on our Yangyang trip, we ordered sashimi to take back to our accommodation so we could eat comfortably. We chose the two-person assorted sashimi set at Eosiljang Sashimi Takeout (어실장 회포장), near Sol Beach.

Where can you get sashimi takeout near Sol Beach?

Eosiljang Sashimi Takeout is a sashimi takeout specialty shop at 1717-23 Donghae-daero, Sonyang-myeon, Yangyang-gun. Since we also planned to eat other food from Sokcho Market, we ordered the two-person assorted sashimi set.

Waits may be long on weekends or during peak travel periods. Setting a dinner time and reserving your takeout order by phone in advance would make planning much easier.

What was the shop like while I waited for takeout?

As soon as I entered, the shop struck me as clean. Since it was a place to buy takeout food, I paid attention to the interior, and its tidy condition made the wait comfortable.

What came in the two-person assorted sashimi takeout set?

Once we arrived at our accommodation, I took out the containers one by one. Everything was neatly packed without being disturbed, which made a good first impression.

Along with the assorted sashimi, there were sea squirts, shrimp, and abalone. Vegetables and assorted sauces were included too, so we could set the table right away without preparing extra things.

How did the sashimi and included seafood taste?

The sashimi was thick-cut and had a pleasing chew when I ate it. I was as satisfied with the taste as I was with the neat packaging.

The sea squirt had a briny aroma, the shrimp was springy, and the abalone was chewy. Having pieces of seafood alongside the sashimi let us enjoy different flavors and textures.

With several kinds of seafood included as well as sashimi, the takeout spread felt abundant.

Was it convenient for dinner at our accommodation?

That day, we paired the assorted sashimi with Baekhwasubok, a Korean rice wine. We took a sip, ate the thick-cut sashimi, and alternated between sea squirt and abalone as we slowly enjoyed dinner.

After changing into comfortable clothes, we ate while talking with our companions, which felt relaxed. It suited our plan to rest at the accommodation while having dinner.

I found it convenient that the sashimi, seafood, and vegetables were all prepared for eating. I especially remembered being able to open the package and immediately set out a full meal.

It was a place I would think of when staying at Sol Beach or a nearby accommodation and wanting sashimi takeout. I was satisfied with the tidy shop, clean packaging, and chewy sashimi.

If I return to Yangyang, I plan to reserve in advance and visit again. I would like to slowly enjoy the assorted sashimi with Baekhwasubok at our accommodation then, too.
