My first time back at Gyodae Station in a really, really, really long time after work! I dropped by Mini Male Coffee Roaster Gyodae Court Branch, a Gyodae Station café, to eat dinner and get some work done :-) Mini Male Coffee Roaster has several branches around Gyodae, and this Gyodae Court branch is the one close to Exit 3.

Whenever I visit a new café, I always try the signature menu item, so I ordered the Helsinki Latte, the signature drink at this Gyodae Court branch (^^)*

They also had cold-brewed milk tea, made in-house, so I kept that aside to take home haha!

Interestingly, this Gyodae café also had babka, a dessert I'd never seen at any of the countless cafés I've visited before haha, but I was more in the mood for a pastry-style dessert than bread, so I passed on the babka this time — maybe next visit.

Since I'd just had dinner, I wanted something simple, so I picked a scone and an egg tart!

Desserts are also self-picked and handed to the counter, and I liked that they set out to-go containers so you can pack up whatever you can't finish yourself (^^)*

The interior is on the cozy side — I couldn't take a photo because other customers were there, but there were about two more tables to the right!

Customers grabbing a quick takeout seemed fine leaving their hazards on and parking briefly in front of the shop (?) (I saw one customer order, grab their bag, and dash off haha)

My order: Victoria Scone, egg tart, and Helsinki Latte! The Helsinki Latte tasted better than I expected, so I kind of regretted not ordering a bigger size^^;

Victoria scone, 4,900 won

The Victoria Scone is the signature dessert at this Gyodae café, and while I've had Victoria cake before, I think this was my first time trying a Victoria scone..?haha

It was a sandwiched scone with strawberry jam and cream(?) inside — since scones are often served with butter or strawberry jam on the side anyway haha, it felt kind of like eating strawberry jam with a scone attached, if that makes sense?haha

The scone was thick with two layers stacked on top of each other, so I couldn't really cut it — pulling it apart to eat was easier haha

Porto-style egg tart, 2,800 won

I'm also a fan of Portuguese-style egg tarts with that crisp, flaky crust,

and this one had a crispy shell with a moist inside! Even though I was already full, I enjoyed every bite (^^)*

Cold-brewed Milk Tea Flasque, 6,500 won, taken home

Since the milk tea needs to be refrigerated, I paid for it in advance and told the staff I'd pick it up on my way out — grabbed it from the owner as I left, brought it home, and drank it again that night while watching Netflix haha. It wasn't too sweet, with just the right amount of black tea aroma. When I first arrived the place wasn't too crowded, but from the moment I sat down, people kept trickling in one by one, and by the time I left, every table was full — clearly a popular Gyodae Station café.
