Today~ I'm sharing my review of Tomoru Bakery (토모루베이커리), a bakery near Songdo Central Park in Incheon, where I went to pick up an anniversary cake for my boyfriend. You can taste breads and cakes that a Korean Master Baker (the national master-craftsman title for baking) kneads and bakes by hand every morning, so I'm starting with my recommendation first 🤍
Where is Tomoru Bakery in Songdo, and where can you park?

Tomoru Bakery is on the ground floor of Acria Building 2, across from the Songdo Pungnim I-One Complex 2 apartments near the Korea Coast Guard headquarters, and parking in the building garage is covered for up to 4 hours. It's on the main road and the brick-colored exterior makes it easy to spot. Right in front of the shop is the Songdo Pungnim I-One Complex 2 bus stop, served by buses 8, 58 and Circular 42, so it's easy to reach by public transport, and driving there works too!

Outside the shop there are small tables and chairs, so on a cool day it's nice to have a coffee and a pastry there.
Who bakes the bread at Tomoru Bakery, and with what ingredients?

At Tomoru Bakery, the owner chef, who holds the Korean Master Baker title, makes the breads and cakes by hand every morning! They use organic flour, natural sourdough starter, AOP-certified butter and antibiotic-free eggs, so you can eat with peace of mind.

They apparently also have items made with rice flour, which is gluten-free and easy on digestion! haha

And they won the 2026 Bakery World Cup in France!! I really, truly found a proper bakery gem~
What breads and drinks does Tomoru Bakery sell?

Tomoru Bakery also sells coffee, non-coffee drinks, ades and tea to go with your bread!

Just grab a tray and tongs at the entrance and pick out the breads you want~

Plump, generous loaves of sliced bread, then scones, egg tarts, manju (filled buns), pies and other easy pick-up-and-eat pastries.

Crisp-looking croissants, mont blanc, pizza bread, sweet red bean buns, dinner rolls and more, a big variety. And every single one looked so delicious,, *drool*

Alligator bread, kkwabaegi (twisted doughnuts), baguettes, soboro (streusel) buns, ciabatta and lots of other big breads that would be perfect as a meal replacement~~

There are lots of salt bread varieties too: plain, bacon potato, pollock roe and garlic cheese! And even chewy, crisp butter rice cake, all ready~~
Dubai chocolate baguette, chocolate baguette and other pastries that go great with coffee or a drink, all lined up~~
There are also easy grab-and-eat pastries! By the way, I haven't seen those Guri balls in forever haha, so cute 🤍
The refrigerated section has sandwiches and cream-filled pastries, and they looked generously stuffed and tasty.

Cakes are ready too, like the mango sandwich cake packed with mango and the strawberry dome! They also have number candles, a must for birthdays and anniversaries.
What does Tomoru Bakery's Strawberry Dome Mini cake taste like?
The Strawberry Dome Mini at Tomoru Bakery is ₩26,000 and comes packed in a pretty pink box~ When I picked it up, the staff asked if I needed candles, but I had already bought some, so I didn't take any.
It's a dome-shaped mini cake~ with strawberries studded all over the outside. The looks, what is even happening!! Red strawberries on soft white cream,, and they kept the green stems on, so the green color made it even prettier.
We stuck in the candles and lit them, and the anniversary mood was perfect~ I was so happy!!! 🤍

There was so much cream on the outside that it looked ready to topple over, so I dug in fast haha. Cake-cream-cake-cream-cake-cream, bite after bite~~

I think the Strawberry Dome Mini uses two kinds of cream: one is light and melts in your mouth, while the other feels richer and heavier. The moist sponge and the two different cream textures worked really well together.
Even with a lot of cream, it wasn't greasy or cloying! The sweetness was just right, and best of all the strawberries weren't sour but sweet, pure honey! There were sliced strawberries tucked between the sponge and the cream too, so there was plenty of strawberry to enjoy.
Are Tomoru's chocolate baguette and pollock roe salt bread worth buying?
When I picked up the cake, I also bought a chocolate baguette (₩6,000) for my boyfriend and a pollock roe salt bread (₩3,500) for myself haha

Chocolate baguette (6,000 won)
The chocolate baguette at Tomoru Bakery was nicely crisp outside and moist inside. When a baguette crust is really, truly hard it hurts your teeth, but this one was just right, so it was good. It has chocolate chips dotted inside and chocolate cream in the middle, so you really taste the chocolate. A must-try pastry for chocolate lovers!!
Pollock roe salt bread (3,500 won)
Sweet-salty pollock roe salt bread,, it looks like it's saying "I'm delicious, you know~" haha

The pollock roe salt bread is crisp outside and moist inside!! And the inside is insane,, 🤍 It has a slit, and when you bite into it the roe is packed in there and pops, the texture is great and the taste is great, and I regretted so much buying only one. I'll go back soon and grab all the breads I missed this time!! 🤍
