Why Tomoru Bakery for a family birthday cake in October?

October is packed with family birthdays, so I wondered where to buy a party cake and went back to Tomoru Bakery, a Songdo bakery I'd enjoyed last time.

Tomoru Bakery is near Songdo Central Park and Triple Street, right across from the Korea Coast Guard. Lots of customers even on a weekday afternoon!

What breads does Tomoru Bakery have?

The view of the shop, full of bread, is just so good...

Sweet pumpkin rice bread, garlic cheese salt bread, bacon salt bread, pollock roe salt bread, chocolate cornet, ciabatta, Dubai chocolate baguette, cucumber baguette, pollock roe and green onion baguette and more. Everything looks so appetizing... so delicious... these are breads I know are good, so my mouth was watering even more ㅠㅠ

Tomoru Bakery has cookies for gifts and can even put together gift sets, and the variety is really, really wide!

There's also a fridge that feels just like a neighborhood bakery, with sandwiches, castella (sponge cake), rolls and burgers. I wanted to grab so much, but I held back! Staying true to today's mission...

What cakes does Tomoru Bakery have?

The cakes at Tomoru Bakery were Kirsch, strawberry dome, Shine sandwich and mango sandwich, plus a variety of roll cakes, so you can pick to your taste. Today's mission was definitely cake🫶 I'd wanted one since my last visit, and they say it's famous for cakes...! So I came to fetch a really special cake❤️

After much deliberation, my pick was the mango sandwich cake🥭 It's loaded with mango, so the box was seriously heavy! I carefully set it on the passenger seat so it wouldn't tip over or collapse on the way.

Is parking free at Tomoru Bakery?

Tomoru Bakery is in the Arcria building, and basement levels 1 and 2 are all parking. Parking is free for up to 4 hours! I said I'd be leaving right away, so they gave me 30 minutes haha.

The Arcria parking lot was quite spacious, and the individual spaces are on the big side! But the layout means cars coming in and going out can meet from both sides in front of the entrance and might bump into each other, so be careful when leaving~~~!

How does the ₩45,000 mango sandwich cake taste?

I treated my precious mango sandwich cake with care~ on the passenger seat, and luckily it arrived with just a slight tilt and not a scratch~~~! Then I stored it nicely in the fridge for the next day's party!

Pretty candles in, and the party begins. Thanks to Tomoru Bakery's mango sandwich cake, which looks and tastes great, it turned into a really lovely birthday party🤭 It's not just pretty on top, it looks pretty from the side too, and the whole family raved about how delicious it was.

The mango comes in long strips, so you can taste mango in every bite of the cake! Fresh, rich mango with soft cream and a moist, sweet sponge, what a combo bb Next time I plan to try other cakes~
