Resting07 is a Western restaurant on the 2nd floor of 67 Dongseong-ro 3-gil, Jung-gu, Daegu. I'm one of those people 🙋🏻‍♀️ who always thinks of the same old menus whenever someone says "let's eat on Dongseong-ro." This time I wanted something with a bit more atmosphere, so I looked around and ended up at Resting07, a Western food spot on Dongseong-ro. 📍67 Dongseong-ro 3-gil, Jung-gu, Daegu, 2nd floor. It's near Sparkland, so it's an easy stop while hanging out around Dongseong-ro.

Just as you're getting tired of the usual Dongseong-ro hustle and bustle, you climb the stairs and suddenly feel like you've teleported to another dimension. There's even a mirror photo zone where you can grab a good shot 🖤

Inside the private room at Resting07

Inside, Resting07 has dimmed, soft lighting and a clean interior 💓 Not too much, but classy — I thought it would be a great spot for a Daegu date, a blind date on Dongseong-ro, or an anniversary dinner.

The room space in particular was separated from the noise outside, and rather than feeling closed off, it felt just private enough to have a comfortable conversation while eating 🍀

Tablet ordering and the review and takeout events

Ordering at Resting07 is done via tablet ✨ It's nice that there are photos for each menu item, but there were so many things that looked delicious I couldn't decide which to pick..? (I still have to come back for the Tuscan chicken risotto, gamberi basil cream pasta, and steak cream pasta I couldn't get to today.)

Starting with the warm pre-meal bread

Before the main dishes arrived, we got warm bread that was crisp outside and moist inside!! Dipped lightly in the olive oil and balsamic vinegar that came with it, the nutty, clean flavor filled my mouth and gently woke up my appetite 💓 An appetite I never thought I'd lost got filled right back up,,😶

🥗 Ricotta cheese salad, around 7,000 won

The first dish to arrive was the ricotta cheese salad. Kind of like filling up your conscience before the main event 😉 Fresh vegetables topped generously with thick, nutty ricotta cheese, paired cleanly with the dressing. The nutty richness of the cheese and the crisp texture of the vegetables came together perfectly as a starter ✨ This quality for around ₩7,000? Genuinely surprising.

🍕 Quattro formaggi pizza

A must-order if you love cheese! This is the one I fell for from the photo before even deciding on the menu 🫶🏻 The cute little cheese topping 🧀 Just looking at it, you know it can't be bad. The pizza came out warm with a rich cheesy flavor, and after one slice my hand naturally reached for the next. I told myself I'd only eat two slices, but ended up finishing the whole thing 😝 The salty, nutty cheese flavor carries it well on its own, but dip it in honey and this place becomes paradise on earth 🍯

🍄 Truffle cream risotto, the dish of the night

My favorite dish was the truffle cream risotto. Built on a mushroom cream base with truffle oil for extra depth, the creamy aroma rose up the moment I dipped my spoon in ❤️ If you love thick, smooth cream risotto, you cannot skip this one 〜 If the pizza was all about cheese, the risotto was all about creaminess — order both together if you want to go full-on rich and indulgent ‼️

Is Resting07 worth it for a date or anniversary?

Between the quality of the food and the sense of calm and atmosphere the space itself offered, Resting07 on Dongseong-ro was thoroughly satisfying. If you're looking for a good Western restaurant on Dongseong-ro, I highly recommend it 🔥
