Where is Sushi Doku The Songdo, and how is parking?
Sushi Doku The Songdo is on the 2nd floor of Onesta Mall, 157 Songdogukje-daero, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, open daily 11:00–21:00 (break time 14:30–17:00, last order 20:15). You can use the Onesta Mall underground parking, with up to 2 hours free if you register your parking with a meal, and it's about a 1-minute walk from Exit 2 of Tekeunopakeu Station on Incheon Line 1.
On my day off, my husband and I came to Songdo for a trip-slash-date, and I was craving sushi so badly that we ended up at Sushi Doku The Songdo, a well-known Songdo restaurant! 🤍
I had this prejudice that Songdo is confusing to get around, but the location here is great, so it was easy to find and parking was easy too!! When you travel by car like we do, that stuff matters more than you'd think, right? haha

The atmosphere when we arrived right at opening
Once you come up to the 2nd floor of Onesta Mall, you can't miss Sushi Doku!! I'd heard there's usually a line, so we arrived right at opening time, 11:00!
The inside of Sushi Doku The Songdo was clean, and the tables were spaced generously, so it was comfortable to eat. It felt good for a date, but also for a family meal or getting together with friends!!
They also run a Naver review service (a freebie in exchange for a Naver review). We didn't do it, but go ahead and claim yours!!
Wasabi choice and a silicone soy sauce brush: thoughtful from the order onward
No hesitation at Sushi Doku The Songdo: we ordered the Premium Sushi Set and omija tea (five-flavor berry tea)! One thing I liked from the moment we ordered: you can choose whether to include wasabi or not. Some people love wasabi and some can't eat it, right? Being able to choose to your taste felt quietly thoughtful, and I loved that 👍
The cutlery set also comes with a silicone soy sauce brush hahaha so cute...! You brush the sauce onto the sushi as you like, such a smart touch.
Omija tea, ₩2,000
The omija tea we ordered came out first! A sweet-and-sour drink to cleanse the palate first~~ and ₩2,000 is such a bargain hahaha

What comes in the Premium Sushi Set?
The Premium Sushi Set at Sushi Doku The Songdo comes with 10 pieces of sushi, salad, udon, chawanmushi (steamed egg custard), and karaage (Japanese fried chicken) plus shrimp tempura. When the full spread arrived, I was like wow.. honestly a little moved by the lineup hahaha. A table full of food, and it made me happy just looking at it 😍

The reason I like set meals like this is that you get to taste a variety of dishes rather than just sushi, and the Premium Sushi Set at Sushi Doku The Songdo is really well put together!!
The 10 pieces of sushi and how they taste
The sushi in the Premium Sushi Set is red sea bream, tuna, small squid, sweet shrimp, red shrimp, salmon, flounder, crab meat, ankimo (monkfish liver) and eel! A light salad to open the appetite, a spoonful of soft egg custard, then crispy shrimp tempura and karaage, and I was already happy before even getting to the sushi, the main event haha
The salmon was so tender it melted in my mouth, and the sweet sauce went so well with the soft eel that my husband and I kept saying this is so good! 🤣 The sea urchin roe sushi wasn't fishy at all, just rich and tasty, and the ingredients all felt fresh, so I instantly understood why it's famous as a Songdo go-to!
Sushi alone can leave you a little hungry, but with udon, tempura and karaage alongside, it was a really filling meal 👍
Plum tea after the meal, and we'll be back
There's warm plum tea in front of the counter at Sushi Doku The Songdo. I grabbed a cup and slurped it down, and it felt like it helped digestion hahaha. Even though we left stuffed, my husband and I naturally said let's come again!
If you're looking for a sushi spot in Songdo, for a date, a family meal, or you just like a neat, generous spread, I'd recommend Sushi Doku The Songdo 💛 Easy parking, easy to find, a well-built set, and above all really good sushi, so it was 100% satisfaction. Next time I'm in Songdo, I'll come back to try other dishes 😉
