Long Time No See Dangsan Branch is a pizza and beer bar on the 2nd floor of a building right in front of Dangsan Station. I suddenly had a craving for pizza and went looking for a good pizza spot, which led me to this Dangsan favorite, Long Time No See Dangsan Branch. Everything on the pizza menu looked delicious, and the beer ordering system was especially unique. Being right in front of Dangsan Station, it's super accessible.

You just head up to the 2nd floor of this building.

Inside the bar and how the self-tap beer works

Long Time No See Dangsan Branch uses both the 2nd and 3rd floors, so the space is really spacious. There are lots of roomy tables too, so it seems like a great spot for groups.

What was most fun was how many different beers they had! You wear a wristband-like tag and can pour as much of whatever beer you want, yourself — I loved that you could try a little of many different kinds. I can't drink alcohol though, so I passed on that...

The vibe is absolutely perfect for pizza and beer.

You grab your own tableware at the self-bar, and can help yourself to popcorn, water, and more. There's also hot sauce and parmesan cheese powder.

Scrolling through the menu, there were so many kinds of pizza, plus pasta, gratin and other bar snacks — it was almost hard to choose. Every pizza looked amazing, and in a situation like this, half-and-half pizza is the answer.

Besides pizza, there's all kinds of pasta, spaghetti, clam soup, fish cake stew... rabokki (spicy rice cake stir-fry), grilled tomato brie cheese, fries, house-made sausage, and more.

Besides beer, there's also plenty of other drinks and alcohol.

Another fun detail — apparently any table with a guest named 'Noh' gets a whopping 30% discount!

The popcorn tastes pretty ordinary, but it's salty enough that you keep reaching for more.

Chicken gratin, 8,900 won and loaded with cheese

The chicken gratin came out first! There's genuinely so much cheese piled on top of the chicken. The chicken itself is coated in some kind of spice blend, with a subtle spiciness and saltiness that makes it perfect as a drinking snack.

With all that cheese, it was savory and delicious while warm. The portion wasn't excessive either, so it paired perfectly with the pizza.

The half-and-half pizza at Long Time No See Dangsan Branch is ₩20,500, with cheese crust as a ₩3,000 add-on. We went with the tomato spinach & herb garlic combination.

It comes with crunchy, sweet-and-sour pickles and, of course, the essential garlic sauce.

There were so many pizza options that I was stuck deciding, until I saw the half-and-half option and immediately went for it. We picked tomato spinach & herb garlic! The tomato spinach side has basil pesto with a drizzle of balsamic glaze on top.

Tomato + basil + balsamic is... well, it can't go wrong. It was fresh and fragrant, so delicious. Even though it's pizza, there's a bit of freshness added, which personally makes it one of my favorite combinations. It's perfect for cutting through the richness of pizza, so if you're ordering a half-and-half, I highly recommend picking this one.

The herb garlic side, on the other hand, is richer and heavier. The herb and garlic flavors weren't overpoweringly strong, but with potato mixed in, it was overall hearty and delicious. And dipping it in the garlic sauce here was genuinely amazing.

Is the 3,000-won cheese crust worth adding?

Overall the toppings are generous and hearty and delicious. The cheese was savory and high quality. The dough was chewy yet soft, so I ended up eating every last bit.

And you absolutely must add the cheese crust! I normally don't bother eating pizza crusts, but the cheese crust with garlic sauce combo is... seriously so good. The cheese in particular was unusually savory, soft, and great.

Honestly I went in not that hungry and thought there'd be leftovers, but it was so good we finished every bite.

Dangsan favorite Long Time No See Dangsan Branch! The tomato spinach with its fresh, sweet tomato+basil+spinach+balsamic combo, the hearty and savory herb garlic loaded with potato, the salty chicken gratin piled with cheese — everything was delicious. The cheese crust especially is truly a must-order, so, so good. Dipping the tomato spinach and cheese crust in garlic sauce was my favorite way to eat it. If you love pizza and beer, this place is great. If you're looking for a good spot in Dangsan, I highly recommend it!
