4th-floor mountain view window and coconut coffee at Uiwang outlet

I was at Lotte Premium Outlet Uiwang looking for a café to take a quick break, and that's how I found Jeong Jiyoung Coffee Roasters.

Jeong Jiyoung Coffee Roasters is a local coffee brand that started in Haenggung-dong, Suwon, so I'd heard the name a lot already — and I was curious because they'd just opened a new location at Lotte Premium Outlet Uiwang in July.

What I liked most was the space the café is in. The whole building is floor-to-ceiling glass, so the atmosphere felt great even before stepping inside. The weather was getting a little cooler and the sky was gorgeous, so being able to see it through the huge windows made the visit even better.

Two ways to find the café inside the outlet

There are basically two ways to get there. The first is walking up from the lawn square side — you'll pass Shake Shack on the 1st floor, Outback on the 2nd floor, and find Jeong Jiyoung Coffee Roasters on the 3rd and 4th floors.

The second way is from indoors on the 2nd floor — between Marithé on the left and Agabang on the right, head out through the GLASS VILLE building and the café is on the right.

I came in for a coffee break while shopping, and the moment I stepped into the café, the wide-open view with zero stuffy feeling instantly lifted my mood.

Right when you walk in, the coffee ordering counter is straight ahead.

The store also had all kinds of goods on display.

There are about 3 seats on the 3rd floor.

They were also selling instant coffee.

4th-floor mountain view through floor-to-ceiling windows

Head up to the 4th floor and you get a mountain view of green nature beyond huge windows. The weather was so nice on this visit that just sipping coffee while looking out felt genuinely healing.

Since I had a stroller with me, going up another floor felt tricky, so I sadly just took my coffee to go instead. Personally, I think this is a pretty solid choice if you're looking for a café to take a quick break at while shopping at Lotte Outlet Uiwang.

There are basic coffee options like americano and café latte, plus vanilla latte and flat white, and also the brand's popular coconut coffee.

For people who don't drink coffee, there's milk tea, tea, and iced tea, plus desserts like cake and madeleines — good to order together when you're craving something sweet mid-shopping.

There are also drinks for families visiting with kids, so it'd be a good pick for anyone looking for a kid-friendly café in Uiwang. (There's also a baby chair on the 3rd floor.)

So how was the coconut coffee?

I ordered the coconut coffee that's reportedly sold 1.11 million cups at this Uiwang coffee spot.

I already love coconut coffee, and this one wasn't too sweet — the aroma and flavor were perfect!! Once I mixed it well and took the first sip, I just kept drinking it straight through.

My honest review

I walked in without high expectations since it's a café inside an outlet mall. I figured I'd just grab an americano, rest a bit, and move on — but the space was so much nicer than I expected that I already want to come back and sit and relax properly next time.

What I liked best was being able to look out at the view outside — sitting down after getting a little tired from shopping would have been so relaxing. (I was really sad I couldn't stay seated.)

If you're looking for a café in Uiwang near Baegunho Lake, you don't need to travel far — it's worth stopping by Jeong Jiyoung Coffee Roasters at Lotte Premium Outlet Uiwang. I visited on a weekday so it may have felt extra relaxed and satisfying, but there seemed to be plenty of seats even on weekends, so you could still enjoy the window view after shopping.

Coffee, dessert, and the view outside — a little break like that. What I liked most about this visit was discovering a new space where I could get a bit of a rest in a lovely setting. Next time I visit, I want to try other menu items and desserts one by one. Definitely stop by after shopping at Lotte Premium Outlet Uiwang!!!
