Uiwang outlet café weekday 2nd-floor window seat, corn cream latte

After lunch and a walk around Baegunhosu Lake, we stopped by Lotte Premium Outlet Uiwang. We went for a good cup of coffee at Jeong Jiyoung Coffee Roasters Lotte Premium Outlet Uiwang Branch, a coffee brand that started in Suwon's Haenggung-dong neighborhood and has become a go-to coffee spot in Uiwang.

Getting to Jeong Jiyoung Coffee Roasters Uiwang Branch

The Jeong Jiyoung Roasters café is in the Glass House up on the hill. As you climb the hill path past the beautifully landscaped garden and the stylish glass-walled building,

you'll find the Glass House with the Jeong Jiyoung sign, right alongside Outback and Shake Shack. With its well-kept landscaping and triangular-roofed glass building, the exterior looks like a work of art.

There's also a stone wall in front of the entrance that's a great spot for photos.

First floor or second floor?

We ended up on the second floor. Here's a view of the first floor from above — the high ceilings make for a nice view. The first floor has fewer tables, which is why we headed upstairs, though if you arrive early, the first floor could be a good choice too.

Here's the overall vibe of the second floor. Plenty of tables, and even on a weekday afternoon it was busy — true to its reputation as a top coffee spot in Uiwang.

The high ceiling, round lighting, and sparkling mobiles pair nicely with the floor-to-ceiling windows. There were families with kids and people with dogs too. Since it's pet-friendly, it's a great café to stop and relax at with your dog after a walk.

True to its glass-house design, the window view is fantastic. The window-side seats were packed with customers too.

Menu and prices

We ordered an iced americano (₩5,500) and a corn cream latte (₩6,800).

How does the corn cream latte taste?

Take a look at the corn cream latte — the pale yellow cream is so pretty. I picked it because I love cream and corn.

The nutty corn flavor blended beautifully with the deeply brewed coffee — I enjoyed it right down to the last sip. The americano was strong and nutty too.

Reading the café's introduction, you can feel the sincerity of the barista who brews coffee here every day.

Sitting at the window-side bar table, taking in the pretty view and chatting over a cup of coffee ☕ — but honestly, with so many people around, it was pretty noisy. If you like a quiet spot, I'd recommend sitting on the first floor instead.

A walk around the outlet plaza after coffee

After coffee, we took a short walk around the plaza at Lotte Premium Outlet Uiwang.

Maybe because we're at the edge of autumn, the sky was high and blue. Looking at such a pretty scene on a day like this is instantly healing. This place is lovely every time I come, and I find myself thanking the owner all over again for creating a space like this ☺️

These are pretty, eco-friendly spaces for shopping and relaxing with family or friends. Of all the outlets I've been to, Lotte Premium Outlet Uiwang is the prettiest. On the way, I noticed construction on a new lot across the street — I'm looking forward to seeing what new and pretty space gets added to Lotte Premium Outlet Uiwang.
