I visited Sekaro Steak, known in Songpa for unlimited steak.

I had seen Sekaro Steak featured as a good restaurant on YouTube, and it looked nice, so I had wanted to try it. It is within a reasonable walking distance from Ogeum Station. There is also space for a few cars to park in front.

An antique-style private room after making a reservation
I made a reservation on Catchtable the day before visiting. The restaurant had an antique yet cozy atmosphere. It also had the feel of a retro Western-style diner, and seemed great for a Songpa date or family meal. Seating is divided between bar tables and private rooms; since there were three of us, we were shown to a room. Our table was set with place settings for each person and two kinds of sauce.

Sekaro Steak and World Steak menu options
Sekaro Steak offers both à la carte and unlimited menus. It seemed that most people go for the unlimited steak. The unlimited options are Sekaro Steak (₩48,000) and World Steak (₩68,000). Sekaro Steak includes six cuts such as sirloin, emperor rib finger meat, and flat iron steak, plus pasta and salad, for 90 minutes. The World Steak menu we ordered includes 12 kinds of steak, 10 dishes, draft cream beer, and ade without limit for 120 minutes.

World Steak had such a wide range of cuts, including sirloin, chuck flap, tenderloin, skirt steak, beef tongue, and hanging tender. Rather than grilling it ourselves or repeatedly fetching food as at a buffet, we simply ordered at the table on a tablet and the food was brought out prepared.

The steaks were grilled as soon as we ordered them, and with unlimited ade and prepared dishes available at the tap of the tablet, the kids absolutely loved it.

There were four kinds of pasta, plus plenty of side dishes including yukhoe (Korean-style raw beef), polpo, soup, tomato stew, and salad.

When we ordered World Steak, they brought over and showed us the steaks prepared that day. The meat looked to be in such good condition, and I was excited about what to try first.

Ade and our first steak order
There were yuzu ade and guava ade. We ordered one of each, and they were cool, sweet, and delicious.

First, we ordered a variety of items including broccoli soup, tenderloin, chuck flap, and flat iron steak. There was no option to choose the doneness; they grilled it for us. It was cooked in a way that was easy to eat with the kids, and everyone enjoyed it.

We added whole-grain mustard, too.

The polpo mixed with potatoes and octopus was also so delicious, and the white kimchi pickles made a refreshing accompaniment to the meat.

Pasta and yukhoe that the kids ordered again and again
This is the Bolognese pasta that one of the kids ordered twice.

This is the pollock roe cream pasta I ordered. The cream sauce was delicious, and with pollock roe and shrimp in it, the pasta was better than expected.

The yukhoe served on gim bugak (crispy fried seaweed) was sweet, nutty, and delicious, too.

Tenderloin, our favorite, and the sides
A lot of people say the chuck flap is delicious, but tenderloin was the best for our taste. It was incredibly tender and juicy, and later the kids kept ordering only tenderloin until we were full.

There were also mashed potatoes and coleslaw to have alongside the steak. The mashed potatoes came out hot and were so good. Definitely order these^^

Seasoned steaks and crème brûlée
Sekaro Steak, a good restaurant in Ogeum-dong, also has seasoned steaks, so you can enjoy them to suit your taste. There are soy sauce-marinated ribs and chuck flap with garlic mayo sauce, so it would be nice to try a range of them. For dessert, we ordered the crème brûlée. It had fruit inside its bouncy pudding, making it sweet and a clean way to finish the meal. The kids thought this was so delicious that they ordered it several times too, haha. Sekaro Steak is a Songpa unlimited-steak restaurant. Being able to eat 12 kinds of steak, four kinds of pasta, yukhoe, dishes, and dessert without limit for ₩68,000 felt like good value. The steak was delicious, and it was even better because we could sit at our table, order on the tablet, and comfortably enjoy a variety of food right there. If you are looking for a Songpa date spot or a different restaurant around Jamsil, give Sekaro Steak a try.^^
