When you want a healthy meal at Munjeong Terratower

Munjeong Terratower is packed with office workers every lunchtime! When you keep eating out, it is easy to end up having more heavily seasoned, less healthy food, so when I am craving something fresh and healthy, I head to Olla Poke Munjeong Main Branch, a great salad spot in Munjeong. It is a five-minute walk from Munjeong Station, in the basement of Terratower Building A.

It is Unit G185 in Terratower Building A, on the side away from Munjeong Station near the restrooms, so this good restaurant in Munjeong's legal district was not hard to find.

Hours are 10:30–20:00 on weekdays, with a break from 15:00 to 17:00.

Grab a seat first at lunchtime

The ordering instructions are clearly explained, so even first-time visitors can order easily. It gets very busy at lunch, so the unwritten rule is to grab a seat first.

There are tables for two to four as well as solo seats, with room for around 25 people; the clean, bright atmosphere is a highlight. Since the food is easy and light to eat, plenty of people were getting takeaway, and it also seemed to receive lots of delivery orders.

Poke varieties and set meals

The menu was laid out clearly at a glance. The main item is signature poke, with plenty of choices including shrimp, salmon, chicken breast, steak, and smoked duck.

You can also add a range of toppings and customize it however you like. There are solo set meals too: a poke-and-soup set and the Hearty Meal Set with a drink. They are good value, so I would recommend them for eating alone as well.

There were lots of sauces, and recommended sauces for each menu item were listed too, so there was no need to deliberate for ages.

You can calculate topping and sauce calories too

My favorite part was the detailed calorie chart for each menu item and topping! Calories really matter for anyone dieting or working out, but realistically, it is hard to calculate every detail when eating out. Since you can calculate the precise calories as you add sauces and toppings, this is somewhere I would comfortably recommend when looking for a diet-friendly meal at Munjeong Terratower.

Drinks, basic sauces, and utensils were self-serve. For water, there was both lemon water and rooibos tea to drink as you pleased.

Such thoughtful extras were provided too, including hair ties, a power bank, and mouthwash.

You can order directly at the counter. For takeaway, I heard that Naver Order is the cheapest option.

Smoked duck poke Hearty Meal Set

This is the Hearty Meal Set I ordered! It starts at ₩15,500, but I changed it to smoked duck poke and mushroom soup, bringing the total to ₩17,000.

The poke came generously piled with a real variety of standard toppings: green salad vegetables, chickpeas, seaweed, pineapple, pickled radish, sweet corn, red onion, and more.

The smoked duck, the main topping, was nicely grilled and went perfectly with the rice! The recommended teriyaki sauce was neither too sweet nor too salty—just right, and it seemed to balance the other ingredients beautifully.

The mushroom soup was creamy and thick, like the mushroom soup I have had at an upscale Western restaurant! It was smooth and not overly intense, so it felt healthy, yet the seasoning was just right.

Its warm, soft texture also paired well with the crisp, fresh poke! With the warm soup alongside it, it felt like a properly filling meal—one more reason I enjoyed this restaurant in Munjeong's legal district.
