An easy-to-find sushi spot in the KT building basement, Gwanghwamun

After work in Gwanghwamun, I was craving sushi so I went to Elephant Sushi 🍣! A great pick for anyone working around Gwanghwamun. It's inside the KT building, so it's super convenient for nearby office workers, and it was easy to find too ✨

It's located in the basement of the KT building — just take the escalator down and it's right there, easy to spot!

The name is Elephant Sushi, which is kind of cute haha (very likable 🫧)

Inside there are plenty of seats and it's clean! Feels perfect for office workers to use for lunch or dinner.

Elephant Sushi has everything from set menus to individual sushi pieces and salmon dishes, so you can order to match your taste ✨ This time I wanted to try a bit of everything and share, so I ordered the Elephant A-set, a grilled salmon platter, and shrimp tempura~

Salad and soup come included as standard! The Elephant A-set is even better because it comes with 10 pieces of sushi plus cold soba ~~ Sushi alone can feel a bit light, but the refreshing cold soba on the side makes it a much more filling meal ✨

Look at that visual,, doesn't it look so good. Eating it as a set like this feels really substantial and just right for a full meal. Highly recommend the set ~~!

Grilled salmon platter: recommended if you love salmon

And since I love salmon, I also ordered the grilled salmon platter! You get 10 pieces of grilled salmon sushi along with cold soba, so it's a satisfying choice for anyone who loves salmon!! I like salmon lightly grilled, and the soft texture from the light char was really nice 👍👍

Shrimp tempura I ordered on the spot after eyeing the next table

Sushi alone felt like it wasn't quite enough, so I added shrimp tempura too, and it was so good!!!✨🥹 The shrimp tempura at the table next to us looked so delicious. So I ordered it right away haha. But seriously, it was so good warm!! Warm, crispy, plump~

I really recommend ordering shrimp tempura along with your sushi ~!! It goes so well as a side dish with sushi.
