One day we went out with friends around Anguk and Bukchon! One friend had seen Low Five Anguk on Instagram and had wanted to visit for a while, so we decided to have lunch there. The moment we walked in, the atmosphere — like a tiny European restaurant — was so pretty, and everything we ordered, from pizza to pasta to salad, was delicious, so all three of us left completely satisfied. If you're looking for a Western food restaurant near Anguk or Bukchon with great atmosphere and food that actually lives up to it, this one deserves a spot on your Anguk Station restaurant list!

Location, hours, and parking at Low Five Anguk

Low Five is about 188m from Exit 2 of Anguk Station, making it easy to combine with a walk around Anguk or Bukchon. One friend arrived first and grabbed us a table, and by around noon a line seemed to be forming. If you're planning to visit at lunchtime, I'd recommend going a little early! There's no dedicated parking, and nearby lots are paid, so taking the subway is probably the most convenient option.

Interior that feels like a small European restaurant

The first thing I loved about Low Five was the atmosphere! I could totally see why it keeps popping up on Instagram — it really did feel like stepping into a tiny European restaurant. From the sunlit window seats to the warm lighting, the mood was perfect for a slow meal while chatting with friends. Some of the pretty Bukchon restaurants I'd been to before had disappointing food despite the nice space, so it was great that here both the atmosphere and the food were satisfying.

What the three of us ordered, and the prices

There were three of us, so we ordered pizza, pasta, and salad across the board to share.

What I especially liked was ordering the pizza as a half-and-half so we could try both corn and taco flavors on one pie. Since there were three of us, it was even better because we could taste a wider variety of dishes!

How the corn-and-taco half-and-half pizza tasted

The half-and-half pizza I'd been most looking forward to was indeed delicious. The corn pizza had a savory, subtly sweet appeal, while the taco pizza was richer and heartier — great for alternating bites. Even though it was one pizza, the two distinct flavors kept us from getting tired of it till the end.

Alfredo cream pasta and classic Caesar salad

The alfredo cream pasta had a smooth, rich creaminess, and eating some classic Caesar salad in between cleaned up our palates nicely. A moment where I thought, glad we ordered the pizza, pasta, and salad combo!

Honestly, I've had experiences at Instagram-famous places where the food fell a bit short of the visuals, but at Low Five every single dish we ordered was delicious, and all three of us were satisfied the whole meal through.

We visited Low Five because a friend had seen it on Instagram and really wanted to go. In the end, it turned out to be a restaurant near Anguk Station that satisfied not just her but all three of us. You can enjoy pizza and pasta in a pretty, European-feeling atmosphere, and being close to Anguk Station and Bukchon makes it easy to fit into an outing. That said, on the day we went a line started forming around noon, so on weekends or during lunchtime I'd recommend going a bit early. If you're looking for a nice-atmosphere spot with friends around Anguk or Bukchon, or a Western food restaurant for pizza and pasta on a date, give Low Five Anguk a try — the atmosphere isn't the only thing worth the visit, the food is too!
