Songpa sandwich restaurant terrace lunch: Town Sandwich
In short
Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch is a baguette sandwich restaurant in Songpa, Seoul. I shared the signature Town Sandwich and a cranberry jambon-beurre set with my parenting buddy from Mexico on the terrace, then tried the prize-draw event. Verdict: the crisp-outside, moist-inside baguette was the standout.

After my eldest started the new school term, I visited Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch, a popular spot for baguette sandwiches in Jamsil, with an older friend who had been my parenting buddy in Mexico. We enjoyed the signature Town Sandwich, the new Cranberry Jambon-Beurre, and cold drinks as set meals on the outdoor terrace.

Here’s my review, from the crisp-outside, moist-inside baguette and fresh ingredients to the prize-draw coupon event.
Baguette sandwiches in Jamsil
My eldest finally started the new school term, so I finally had some relaxed time to myself! I made lunch plans with an older friend I had spent time with and leaned on as a parenting buddy in Mexico after far too long.

While deciding where to go, we chose Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch, a well-known sandwich spot in Jamsil that had also been strongly recommended in the residents’ KakaoTalk group in our neighborhood. It had such great word of mouth that I had really wanted to go, and I finally did!
Hours are daily from 09:00 to 20:00. Takeout, reservations, and delivery are available, and The Sharp Star Park underground parking is free for 60 minutes on weekdays and 2 hours on weekends.
Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch specializes in baguette sandwiches carefully prepared every day with fresh ingredients.

The tables inside were nicely spaced and the room felt cozy, so it looked very comfortable whether you were eating alone or chatting with someone. The weather has become quite cool lately, so we settled into an outdoor terrace seat.

Sharing set meals cut into three
We ordered at the kiosk, happily talked about the children’s education and chatted away, and before we knew it our set meals were ready!

We ordered the set options. You can choose to have the sandwiches cut in two or three, and we had them cut into three so we could share a piece of each.

The best-selling Town Sandwich is the signature menu item, filled with smoked ham, cheese, and plenty of fresh lettuce and tomato. We chose grapefruit ade with it.

I chose the newly released Cranberry Jambon-Beurre. The sweet cranberry butter, smoked ham, and peppery arugula came together so deliciously. I chose an iced Americano with the set.

Ordering them in three pieces made them just the right size to eat~ They were generously filled and looked so delicious, and the moment I took a bite, there was a “crunch!” and I couldn’t help being impressed.

This was not the kind of tough, hard baguette that scrapes the roof of your mouth! It was pleasantly crisp on the outside and soft and moist inside, and from the first chew it felt clearly different from an ordinary baguette.

The iced Americano had a deep flavor too, making it perfect with the sandwiches.

Prize-draw event after buying sandwiches
We happily finished our food, and as it was nearly time for the children to come home, we went to return our tray. That’s when I spotted a fun prize-draw event in the store (available with a sandwich purchase)!

I drew one with an excited heart and ta-da~ I won fourth prize! It was an Americano coupon. I’ll make good use of it as a freebie next time I come to pick up sandwiches.

Jamsil lunch takeout and pickup
Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch is a great takeout spot where you can quickly grab your order, so it would also make an excellent lunch choice for Jamsil office workers with short lunch breaks. While we were sitting there eating, delivery drivers kept coming in, haha. It’s already a sandwich spot with quite a reputation.

If you use the reservation or takeout system, you can pick up right away without waiting, and they are also offering a glass of iced tea for writing a review.

The sandwiches were so good that I bought some to take home today at my own expense, haha. Next time, I think I’ll get takeout for a picnic when I go to Olympic Park or Hangang Park. Even after some time passes, the baguette keeps that crisp-outside, moist-inside texture!
