While I was near Jamsilnaru Station for an appointment, I was looking for a light meal that could work as both lunch and dinner, and ended up at Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch, known as a great sandwich spot in Jamsil.

I loved that they are open every day with no days off! They are open from 9 AM to 8 PM, so it seems like a great place to stop by when you want a simple sandwich at mealtime~ It is also conveniently close to the stations—about a 10–13 minute walk from either Jamsil Station or Jamsilnaru Station~!
A comfortable interior for solo dining

There are two-person tables as well as bar tables, so it is nice whether you come with someone you know or by yourself. I came for a solo meal too!

There are plenty of solo seats along the wall, so it did not feel awkward at all, and I could eat comfortably on my own.

The bright wood tones give the interior a casual, relaxing atmosphere. Part of the kitchen is open, so I could see the sandwiches being made, and I really liked how carefully they paid attention to hygiene~! Matching the mood of the space, the planters and furniture use yellow and green accents for a bright, warm feel.
Ordering basil jambon-beurre and cream soup

There is a kiosk immediately to the right of the entrance, where you can easily choose what you want. I liked that there was a wide selection, with many types of sandwiches as well as coffee and other drinks~

I ordered a sandwich set and the cream soup. Since this is known as a great jambon-beurre spot in Jamsil, I picked the basil jambon-beurre! It was made fresh as soon as I ordered, haha.

It was served so neatly on a plate. If you order the soup, you also get pieces of baguette to dip into it! The sandwich ingredients were so, so fresh. I love basil, so I was happy that there was plenty of it, haha.

The jambon-beurre was packed with ham and vegetables, and the baguette was wonderfully crisp on the outside. The inside was soft! You know how that crisp-outside, tender-inside combination is unbeatable, right? The crunchy baguette, fresh vegetables, and jambon-beurre worked so well together, and the strong basil aroma was exactly my taste, haha. It really is a great baguette spot in Jamsil! With all those fresh ingredients, I fully recommend it as a wholesome meal too. There is even a discount when you order coffee and a sandwich as a set, so it is great value!

A baguette alone felt a little incomplete, so I ordered the cream soup too~ It arrived piping hot. Sometimes I dipped the baguette pieces in, and sometimes I left them in until they became totally soft. Since the baguette is so crunchy, it felt like an even better match with the smooth cream soup! If a sandwich alone feels a little lacking, I recommend adding the soft cream soup as well.

For my drink, I ordered an iced Americano~ It seemed to use nutty coffee beans. There was almost no acidity, just a nice nutty flavor. I drank some inside, then took the rest out with me to sip while walking, haha. Its clean taste paired even better with the sandwich. Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch also has plenty of ades and other juices, so I think it would be good for people who do not drink coffee too!
The self-service corner and post-order prize draw

There is a corner where you can pick up the disposable items you need, such as cup sleeves, wet wipes, and straws. I also liked that there were sauces to enjoy with the sandwich, haha. The shop was clean, so I could eat with confidence and enjoy everything.

After ordering, you can also enter a no-lose prize draw. The free items given out for first through fifth place were quite worthwhile! If you visit, make sure to give it a try ^_^

The exterior is really neat too, right? There is a large menu board outside, and I really liked that it even lists the prices. The sandwiches are reasonably priced, fresh, and distinctly delicious, so if you have errands around Jamsil and want a simple meal or brunch, do stop by ^_^
