Yongsan burger restaurant with unlimited chips: BAS Burger

On the way to I'Park Mall Yongsan, we stopped by the trendy Yongridan-gil area! I was looking for good places to eat in Yongridan-gil and heard there was a delicious handmade burger spot. With unlimited potato chips and a variety of beers, it seemed perfect for burgers and beer, so we decided to have dinner at BAS Burger Sinyongsan!!🍔😋

Where is BAS Burger Sinyongsan?

It was easy to find thanks to the burger-shaped neon sign! The place had such a trendy Yongridan-gil pub vibe that I was already getting excited about burgers and beer before even going in, haha.

BAS Burger Sinyongsan is in the hot Yongridan-gil area. It is in such a convenient spot for public transportation. It is a 5-minute walk from Exit 1 of Sinyongsan Station on Line 4, a 4-minute walk from Exit 3 of Samgakji Station on Line 4, and a 15-minute walk from Exit 1 of Yongsan Station on Line 1. We had dinner at BAS Burger Sinyongsan and then went shopping at nearby I'Park Mall Yongsan, which made for the perfect date course💕

There is no designated parking for the restaurant, but Samgakji Temporary Public Parking Lot (paid) is a 3-minute walk away! It is open 24 hours a day, year-round, and costs ₩250 per 5 minutes (₩3,000 per hour). Keep in mind that it may be full on weekends or during peak hours!

Pub-style interior and terrace seating

I liked that the open layout lets you see the entire kitchen—it made the cleanliness visible. You can order from the kiosk at your table, or place your order directly at the counter.

As I looked around, I saw that they even had outdoor terrace seating?! On a cool day like this, a hamburger and a sip of cold beer out here—ahhh~~~ It would be perfect for a group gathering too!

It was hot that day, so I ate indoors with the air conditioning blasting, haha.

Choosing the menu and beer

There were so many menu options, and everything looked delicious, so it was seriously hard to decide! 🥰

They clearly disclose the origins of their ingredients as a given, and even check for customer allergies... such a thoughtful detail. Major points👍🏻

Maybe because the atmosphere feels like a pub, but burgers and beer seemed like such a perfect match! They have lots of beer too! Apparently, they will even offer tastings of the beer you want if you ask a staff member?!! Wow~~

Double Bacon Cheese Burger

I seriously highly recommend this burger!!🌟 A patty bursting with juices, plus salty cheese and bacon—could there be a better combination? Haha.

Mushroom Burger

I love mushrooms, so I ordered the Mushroom Burger! Instead of simply sautéed mushrooms, it has a fried patty like a mushroom croquette: crisp on the outside, moist inside, and full of mushroom flavor! With fresh vegetables added too, this burger was delicious as well!!

Cheese Bacon Fries and Chili Mozzarella Cheese Bar

The potato chips at the self-service bar were so good that I had high expectations for the fries too, haha. They were just the right thinness😘 The fries are an absolute must-order too!! They go so, so well with the burgers!!

We drizzled the sauce that came with the fries—myeongnan mayo (pollock roe mayonnaise)—over the Chili Mozzarella Cheese Bar! Oh~~ I recommend this combination too, haha. The chili has a kick, but the myeongnan mayo mellows it out, so they work incredibly well together!! A burger alone can feel a little rich, but the Chili Mozzarella Cheese Bar added a touch of spice that paired so well with it!

Unlimited potato chips fried every morning

The self-service bar has water, cups, napkins, mayonnaise, ketchup, and potato chips! The potato chips are fried every morning and come with unlimited refills!!😋 They were crispy, not greasy at all, and even warm—seriouslyyy delicious! I refilled them twice🤭

The juicy meat patties and soft burger buns went together beautifully, and we really enjoyed the meal. I especially loved the unlimited potato chips—they were so crispy and tasty that I would happily pay for them as a side menu😋 They also offer beer tastings when you ask a staff member, so choosing a beer that suits your taste sounds like part of the fun! It is great for lunch, but also a nice place to visit when you want a simple burger and beer in the evening. There are seats for solo diners, dates, and groups, so it would be great for get-togethers or company dinners with friends too :)
