A 200-pyeong vintage shop found mid Dongdaemun clothes shopping

Dongmyo vintage, Viva Trade Eulji Dundaun Dongdaemun Branch.
We went to Lotte Dundaun for a weekend clothes-shopping trip to Dongdaemun. With so many brands packed in, we lost track of time browsing — and then, right in front of us, Seoul's largest vintage shop at about 200 pyeong appeared! We ended up at Viva Trade Eulji Dundaun Dongdaemun Branch~
Among the vintage shops near Dongmyo, this was a massive 200-pyeong space with around 100 new items coming in every day, plus a 20% off promotion across the whole store! It was basically the mecca of Dongmyo vintage, with everything from high-end pieces to budget-friendly finds. Let's take a look together through this post~!

Today's secondhand shop, Dundaun, sits inside Lotte Dundaun, right in front of Exit 11 of Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station. It was convenient having an entrance that leads straight from the subway station~

There were plenty of different shops around, but Viva Trade on the 5th floor really stood out~
The moment we rode the escalator up to the 5th floor, this impressive vintage shop with a cool stainless-steel look revealed itself in full force~

A store with a section map — how we browsed it
Since Viva Trade Eulji Dundaun Dongdaemun Branch is a large 200-pyeong vintage shop, they thoughtfully prepared a map for shoppers~ Items are divided by section, so it was easy to head straight to where the products I wanted were. The photo on the right listed all the brands they carry, and honestly it was a really diverse lineup.

The pieces were displayed so neatly it was easy to forget they were secondhand~

Brands and discount rates
There were plenty of items from brands like Polo and Tommy Hilfiger, plus luxury brands too~ What impressed me was that premium brands got 30% off and Polo & high-end brands got 20% off, discounted directly from the marked price~

Kids' clothes, goods, and even LP records
Besides kids' clothes and all kinds of shirts, there was also a wide range of goods and small items, so I lost track of time browsing~

The LP records and Kitty goods brought back all kinds of nostalgic memories~

Beyond luxury goods, I could also grab vintage from domestic Korean brands at low prices, so I managed to pick up good-quality clothes at great value~

The wax jacket that caught my eye for fall
I found myself drawn to the wax jackets. So many of them had no fraying or wear at all, kept in really clean condition, and it made me think that for fall, if I'm going to buy something to wear for a long time, buying it secondhand and cheap is the way to go~ These are clothes that gain character from the weathering of time, after all~

Trying it on in the fitting room, buying a Polo shirt
Just holding it up to your neck or waist and buying blind because it's a Dongmyo secondhand shop? No, no! With 4 comfortable fitting rooms fully equipped with full-length mirrors and chairs, I could try things on properly and buy with confidence~

I picked out a Polo shirt I really loved~ I thought the marked price already reflected a 20% discount, but guess what?! They were running a promotion giving an extra 20% off the marked price, so I got it for even cheaper~ Can't wait to wear this Polo shirt!!!
Wrap-up
That was our visit to Dongmyo vintage, Viva Trade Eulji Dundaun Dongdaemun Branch. It was a large secondhand shop with clothes kept so clean you'd forget they were secondhand, a spotless space, and a hip atmosphere that made browsing and buying vintage a genuine pleasure. It's popular enough that influencers and celebrities visit too. If you want to buy good clothes cheaply through secondhand shopping, or if you're a couple dreaming of a hip vintage-shop date~ this is the place, right here~! I'd recommend Viva Trade Eulji Dundaun Dongdaemun Branch~!
