Men's gray coverage hair color and cut in Namdong, Incheon: Juno Hair
In short
Juno Hair Guwol-dong Rodeo Branch is a hair salon in Namdong, Incheon, where my boyfriend had his first darker gray-coverage color service and a cut. His naturally dark hair did not change dramatically, but the grays were covered and the cut suited the style he wanted.

What were the Guwol-dong salon location and parking like?
I visited Juno Hair Guwol-dong Rodeo Branch with my boyfriend on the weekend. We used the building's underground parking, and there was an open space on B1 that day, so we parked right away.

The salon is on the third floor of Link 126, 126 Yesul-ro, Namdong-gu, Incheon. We entered the building with Jaseng Korean Medicine Hospital, got off the elevator, and followed the arrows on the banner. There was a full-length mirror in front of the salon.

What was the waiting area like when visiting together?
The waiting area and interior felt fairly spacious. In front of the waiting area was a space to purchase products used at the salon, and we were served welcome tea while looking through a booklet. At the time of our visit, the salon said that seven designers were on staff and that couples, friends, or families could receive services together.

How did we discuss his first gray-coverage color service?
It was my boyfriend's first time coloring his hair. He usually gets perms or cuts, but this time he decided on a darker color service to cover the grays that had started to show.

We first discussed the color direction and cut style with the senior director in charge. We decided to do the color service first and finish with the cut.

How did the service go, from protection before coloring to shampooing?
For the color service, we moved to a large table in the middle of the salon. First, they covered his ears with plastic to keep color from getting on them.

Next, they sprayed on scalp-protection spray.

Before the coloring began, they asked about drinks, and we both requested iced tea. Snacks and baked eggs were served as well.

They wrapped him in two or three layers to keep color from getting on his clothes or neck, then began applying the color.

Two staff members quickly applied the color from both sides, then the senior director in charge finished the back and the overall work. It looked as though they did not color the part touching the end of his neck, but I did not directly ask why.

After wiping away the color along his hairline, we waited about 10–15 minutes before moving to the shampoo room. My boyfriend said he was shampooed twice: once while washing color from his scalp, then again during the shampoo and scalp-massage process. He said the scalp massage felt refreshing.
While waiting for the shampoo, I looked around and saw a kids' area at the back of the salon. It was a space where children could wait while their parents received services.

Were we satisfied with the gray coverage and cut?
After the shampoo, they gave him a quick blow-dry.

While waiting briefly before the cut, I looked at his hair color. His hair had already been dark, but it seemed a little blacker, and the grays that had been showing were covered.

There was also a scalp massager in front of the mirror. It seemed to be used for scalp care, though it was not used this time.

The cut was done quickly and shaped into the style my boyfriend wanted. He had often felt disappointed with cuts at other salons before, but this time he felt it was cut well to suit the shape of his head.
At the end, they applied essence and explained how to blow-dry and care for his hair day to day. After looking at his hair texture, they recommended an iron perm if he gets a perm in the future.

Because his original hair was dark, the difference in color before and after was not dramatic. Still, the visible grays were covered, and the cut was finished in the style he usually wanted, so we were satisfied.
