It's been a while since I did a full food-diving post. Today's Nowon spot is Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch, where you can enjoy a huge variety of menus all in one place.

Nowon spot: Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch
Hours, parking, and time limits
Hours are 11:00 to 22:00, with last order at 20:30. The standard dining time is 2 hours, but it's limited to 1.5 hours if there are people waiting. You get 2 hours of free parking at the Seoul Onchun Building lot, and the parking entrance is at the back of the building. That said, the lot can get crowded on weekends or holidays, so if it's full I'd recommend using a nearby public parking lot.
Bookings for up to 300, plus rooms and a playroom
Walking into Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch, the bright, comfortable atmosphere and spacious layout were impressive right away. Given how generously sized it is, I thought it would suit anyone in Nowon looking for a spot for a family gathering or group dinner. In particular, you can book private spaces for 50, 80, or up to 300 people, so it looked great for all kinds of gatherings and group events.
There was also a separate room space, accommodating anywhere from 40 to 60 people, which looked good for group meetings or company dinners. There's also a playroom for kids, so families with young children can eat a bit more comfortably.

Unlimited Terra and Kelly draft beer
At Kuu Kuu Nowon, you can also enjoy unlimited cold draft beer — and not Filite, but actual Terra and Kelly on tap. If you write a review, you can get the unlimited draft beer worth ₩5,900 for free, so definitely enjoy some cold beer alongside all the food if you visit.

Menu by corner
Now let's get into the actual food at Kuu Kuu Nowon.

There was a variety of sweet-and-tangy salads to whet the appetite — perfect for a light bite before the main meal, haha. Unfortunately, with so many people around, I couldn't fit them all in photos, but in reality there were far more varieties than the pictures show.
You can't talk about Kuu Kuu Nowon without mentioning the sushi. There was a huge range of rolls and sushi made with fresh ingredients, and it was genuinely fun picking through them one by one.
Norwegian fresh salmon sashimi
Wow!! Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch now has Norwegian fresh salmon sashimi. I hadn't even seen this at the Kuu Kuu Gold branch, so it was a nice surprise. There was also soy-marinated crab, soy-marinated shrimp, and mulhoe (cold raw fish soup) on offer.
New at the hot corner: lamb chops
Heading over to the hot corner, the lamb chops immediately caught my eye. Since it's a newly launched item, there's no way I'm passing on that, haha. I made sure to try it later — can't skip a new item.

Smoked pork belly and smoked pork neck were also menus I was seeing for the first time, and I was curious how they'd taste. I planned to try them along with the lamb chops shortly.
I usually get tired of pizza even when I'm eating it, but somehow pizza always tastes so good at Kuu Kuu.

I also spotted the encroute soup I often enjoy, which is one of Kuu Kuu's signature menu items. When you gently poke the bread crust on top, it breaks softly and blends with the warm soup underneath — the savory bread and smooth soup pair really well together.

There was also a wide range of fried items that kids would love — from crispy fritters to hot dogs and french fries, plenty to choose from depending on the kids' tastes.

Dessert corner and chocolate fountain
Now for the moment we've all been waiting for — the dessert corner. There was a wide range of desserts from seasonal fruit to tteok (rice cakes) and cake, all looking sweet just to look at.
The ultimate in real sweetness — the chocolate fountain fondue! This is hard for anyone, kid or adult, to walk past. Dip a cookie into the chocolate fountain, then place it on top of ice cream — just thinking about it sounds delicious.

Apparently, Kuu Kuu's marble ice cream, which used to be available only at dinner, has now been upgraded so you can enjoy it at lunch too. Since it's a menu everyone loves regardless of age, it's definitely a dessert not to skip.

First plate: sushi first
First, I loaded up a plate of fresh sushi, picking a bit of everything. Since I came to this Nowon spot, I had to properly enjoy the sushi first.
With so many types of sushi, it was hard to decide what to try first. Everything looked so appetizing that even filling the plate was fun.
How were the lamb chops, smoked pork belly, and smoked pork neck?
After clearing my first plate of sushi, I brought back a second one right away. This time I loaded up mostly on the items I was curious about — the newly launched lamb chops, along with smoked pork belly and smoked pork neck.
Lamb can have that distinctive gamey smell if not prepped properly, but Kuu Kuu's lamb had none of that, so it was easy to enjoy without hesitation. The texture wasn't tough or chewy, with just the right amount of fatty flavor — it really suited my taste.
The smoked pork belly and smoked pork neck were also new items alongside the lamb this time. The subtle smoky aroma paired well with the meat's flavor, and I enjoyed both of them.

Marble ice cream now at lunch too
Now it's dessert time!!
I went to grab some marble ice cream and there was a line. Seeing everyone from adults to kids lined up confirmed it's definitely a popular item.

Since I always come at lunchtime, it used to be a bit disappointing that marble ice cream was only available at dinner. Now that I can enjoy it as much as I want at lunch too, I was personally even more satisfied.
Finally, I finished off with a cup of slightly bitter coffee to clean my palate before heading out.
In summary
I already thought this was a great value spot, but with an even wider menu lineup, my satisfaction went up even more. It's a great choice not just as a Nowon restaurant recommendation but for anyone looking for a good-value Nowon buffet. I enjoyed it so much that I'll definitely be coming back to Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch again soon. Thanks for the meal!
