Muhan Paldo Daepae in Millak-dong, Uijeongbu — parking was easy

This time I visited Muhan Paldo Daepae Uijeongbu Millak Branch in Millak-dong, Uijeongbu. I drove there, and since there's parking space behind the building, parking was quick and hassle-free!

Inside the restaurant, a kids' room, and perfect for group gatherings

Stepping inside, the space was bigger than I expected, with plenty of tables. There was a self-bar in the middle with tables arranged on either side. They told us to sit wherever was comfortable, so we picked a seat closest to the self-bar for convenience haha. The place is so spacious it seemed perfect for group gatherings too, and indeed there were a lot of families there when we visited.

Inside, there was also a kids' playroom where children could play. There was even a CCTV feed of the playroom visible from the dining area, so you didn't have to keep getting up to check on your kids while eating — that was nice.

On top of that, they had baby dishes and high chairs ready, which felt like a thoughtful touch for anyone dining out with kids.

They were also running follower and review events — if you take part in both, you get 2 doll-machine plays. Fun to enjoy after the meal!

Six kinds of meat for 18,900 won per adult — how was the value?

These days, one serving at a regular BBQ place runs about 18,000 won, but here all-you-can-eat meat is only 18,900 won per adult — such great value in this era of high prices! Not just one kind of meat but six, all you can eat, and soju or beer for just 3,000 won — I thought, this value is insane!

We sat down, ordered for two adults, and got straight to bringing out the meat. There were six kinds available, and after some deliberation over what to try first, we picked our favorites — samgyeopsal and daepae samgyeopsal (thin-sliced pork belly).

Eight sauces at the self-bar, fun to mix and match

What impressed me most was the sheer variety of sauces. Beyond the usual salt, curry powder, and pepper found at typical BBQ places, there was soy sauce, salted shrimp, salted anchovy, oil, makjang, gochujang (red chili paste), mustard, cheonggukjang (fermented soybean paste) — over eight sauces in total. Eating meat with just one sauce gets boring, but with this many options, it was fun to pick according to my mood.

There were even instructions on how to make a good bibimbap (mixed rice) or build your own burger — fresh and genuinely fun, haha.

Having a separate sauce just for fried rice was such a touching detail 👍 — it gave off a 'since you're eating anyway, do it properly!' vibe, which I loved haha. I went with the gochujang seasoning and thoroughly enjoyed my fried rice.

Hangang ramyeon, the vegetable bar, slushies and tteokbokki

Hangang ramyeon was also free, and while most places offer just one to three kinds of ramyeon, here the variety was huge — from spicy ramyeon to Sarigomtang, a mild non-spicy option for kids who can't handle spice.

The vegetable bar was also kept fresh and well-managed!

On one side of the self-bar there were slushies and tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) too, great to grab while the meat was grilling.

Grilling from daepae samgyeopsal to samgyeopsal

To really get started, we brought over a huge load of vegetables along with daepae samgyeopsal and samgyeopsal.

We tackled the daepae samgyeopsal first — since it's sliced so thin, it cooked through almost the moment it hit the grill.

Watching it turn golden brown made me want to eat it right away 🤤

After a bit of daepae samgyeopsal, I moved on to the well-cooked samgyeopsal wrapped in lettuce, dipping it in that gochujang sauce from earlier. The color was so red I expected it to be spicy, but it turned out to be a plain, sweet gochujang flavor haha. Surprisingly good!

How was the chadolbagi?

After finishing the pork, we brought out chadolbagi (thin-sliced beef brisket) to eat — it was so good I wouldn't have minded starting with it from the beginning!

The savory flavor was really tasty, and even after eating plenty of pork already, it went down easily without feeling heavy — I ended up stuffed full of chadolbagi that day.

Finishing up with fried rice and yeolramyeon

After all that meat, you've got to finish with fried rice, right? My partner brought the ingredients over and fried it up — the hand skills were no joke, honestly impressed me.

Bracken fern, kimchi, and more — loaded with tasty ingredients, plus chadolbagi mixed in, it was a fantastic combination.

They even shaped the finished rice into a heart as a little service touch ❤️

Once you've had fried rice, ramyeon can't be skipped either! Right as things started to feel greasy from all that meat, we finished the meal with yeolramyeon (spicy instant noodles) to cut through the richness.

How is it for a family meal or group dinner in Uijeongbu?

By the exit, there was even hutgae tea and coffee — kids could grab a slushie on the way out while the adults had tea or coffee, rounding off dessert nicely too.

Top-tier value for all-you-can-eat meat in Uijeongbu — a place where I didn't feel like a single won was wasted. From pork to chadolbagi, you can eat as much as you like, and it gives off a real 'since you're here, eat and enjoy properly' vibe, which was satisfying. The restaurant is huge, so it's great for group dinners or family gatherings too — somewhere I'd love to visit again. If you're looking for good food in Uijeongbu, a family restaurant, or a BBQ spot, I'd recommend Muhan Paldo Daepae Uijeongbu Millak Branch.
