On the last day of my Jeju trip~ Of course, if you travel, you have to pick up some gifts too, right? I stopped by in search of soft, delicious Jeju Dongmun Market souvenirs—snacks that both my parents and friends would love. There were so many varieties of oranda and gwajul (traditional puffed-rice sweets), and they wrapped everything up so prettily that they were perfect for gifting. Right away!

It is open daily from 09:00 to 20:00, and nationwide delivery and online purchases through Naver Store are available. Takeaway, delivery, and Naver reservations are available too, and you can use Onnuri gift certificates. There is no parking at the shop, so use Dongmun Market Public Parking Lot.

Since it is inside Dongmun Market, it is easy to pop into while looking around the market. Nationwide delivery is available as well, so you can order even after your trip.

Takeout snacks at Dongmun Market, chosen after tasting

This is a takeout specialty shop in Jeju Dongmun Market. As soon as you stand at the entrance, the owner explains everything—so, so kind—and you can try all sorts of samples. Best of all, tasting before choosing puts your mind at ease, and browsing the different snacks is pretty fun too.

What was funny was that everyone seemed to stop here, try one, and then leave with at least a bag, haha. Like sparrows visiting a mill~ I tried the samples too and was instantly sold.

Soft, moist oranda that is not hard

My favorite thing about this oranda was that it really was not hard. It was soft and moist, so easy to eat. It genuinely felt soft enough to eat with just your gums. It was easy to chew and so tender that my parents loved it when they tried it too.

The nut oranda was packed with nuts, so its nutty flavor was good, good. The yuja oranda filled my mouth with citrus fragrance and was wonderfully refreshing. The gamtae seaweed oranda was super tasty too~!

And the gwajul, what more is there to say~ So tasty, so tasty~! I bought assorted gwajul along with the oranda. The white-rice gwajul was crisp and sweet; the brown-rice gwajul was nutty and mild; the buckwheat gwajul was nutty and mild too; and the steamed-rice gwajul was crisp and sweet, perfect as a snack.

Both the oranda and gwajul were easy to eat softly, making them great Jeju Dongmun Market souvenirs to take home. In the end, I packed up three items nice and neatly: one four-flavor souvenir set, one oranda, and one assorted gwajul, haha.

On the last day of my Jeju trip, I finished my Jeju Dongmun Market gift shopping too. These are snacks that seem like they would make anyone happy, from parents to friends. The oranda is especially soft and comes in lots of flavors, so it is fun choosing one at a time.
