Today I've brought a genuinely great spot for anyone looking for a totally different, delicious meal in Sangam-dong! It's a kebab restaurant in Sangam-dong where you get the full New York street food feel: Zilhal Bros Sangam (질할브로스 상암점)! If you're sick of the rice and noodle dishes you eat every day, I'd fully recommend this place. Whether it's lunch for Sangam-dong office workers, students or whole families, I could immediately see why everyone comes here!

Is the location and parking convenient?

The address is 17 World Cup buk-ro 54-gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul, on the 1st floor of Savoy City DMC. Park in the Savoy City building lot and give your plate number when you order, and they'll register your parking! It's close to Digital Media City Station, so access is great too. No parking worries for anyone driving in, so it gets a pass mark before we even start! 😉

A restaurant that works for solo diners and groups alike

Step inside and the bright, cute yellow-and-red interior is clean but gives off a hip, really-feels-like-being-abroad atmosphere! ✨

There are about 13 two-person tables in total. They're easy to push together or pull apart, so it's perfect as a Sangam-dong spot for eating alone in comfort, and it also looked great for coming in a group with coworkers or friends. When I visited, the crowd really was all ages, from high schoolers in uniform to office workers from nearby to families with kids! Proof that this is a menu anyone can enjoy, right? 👍

Open kitchen and friendly service

On one side of the restaurant there's an open kitchen with a glass window so you can see everything inside, which gave me a lot of confidence! I took a peek and the kitchen was kept really clean. The ingredients looked fresh as can be at a glance! Even people who are sensitive about cleanliness can eat here without worry. Above all, the owner and staff are honestly the friendliest ever! They looked after us kindly from the moment we walked in to the moment we left, and it put me in such a good mood that I thought, "This place absolutely has to be a hit!"

After some deliberation, we ordered one chicken over rice and a lamb burrito with the set added (+₩5,000)! After ordering, you pick up your food at the counter next to the kiosk.

How do the lamb burrito and chicken over rice taste?

First I tried the lamb burrito, the one I was most curious about! 🌯 I'd had regular kebabs before, but a burrito packed with rice was a first, so my heart was racing a little. But with the first bite, the spicy kick and the distinctive lamb flavor spread cleanly across my mouth... it was seriously the best! For the record, there's almost no gamey lamb smell~ It's stuffed with rice, meat and vegetables, so it has a great chew and, most of all, it's really filling. I thought this alone would be a perfect meal during a busy lunch break!

Next up, the chicken over rice, which nobody could possibly dislike! It's a familiar yet special savory flavor that everyone will love, no exceptions! It comes with a generous drizzle of the sweet, nutty house sauce on top. If it seems like too much sauce, you can scoop a little off, but for my taste the seasoning was spot on and perfect! Mix the sauce, chicken and rice together and you won't be able to put your spoon down~

The best fries of my life, the thing I most want to stress

And everyone... the thing I want to emphasize most in today's post is the fries!! 🍟💥 With the set we got the half-size fries. No lie, I regretted it within one second of eating them... "Ugh, I should have ordered another set or a big one on its own ㅠㅠ"!! 😭 The potatoes are super plump and thick, crispy on the outside and fluffy inside~ Just salty enough, and they were the best fries I've eaten in my entire life! If you go to Zilhal Bros, one order of fries per person is a must. Definitely add the set or order the fries, I mean it! 🔥

Toilets and a cute goods fan

After the meal I used the toilets too! Step out of the restaurant, go into the building entrance on the left, and you'll see the building's shared toilets right there. Even though they're shared, they're kept clean, so the visit stayed pleasant right to the end. 🧼

Taste, friendliness, a clean restaurant and easy parking—Zilhal Bros Sangam, a kebab restaurant in Sangam-dong that doesn't fall short on anything! If you're looking for a restaurant near Digital Media City that's a bit different but still a filling meal, do give it a visit! The best fries ever, a delicious burrito and over rice are waiting for you. I very, very, very strongly recommend it!!!!! I absolutely, definitely want to go back!!!!!!!
