It's already autumn — what's everyone doing on weekends~? Autumn is so short that you have to play hard and make the most of it!
How great would it be to go on a picnic to the Han River park in weather like this. Good weather, good breeze, good mood. But if you're carrying too much stuff, you're already exhausted before you even leave.
I found a place where you can rent a full picnic set and go with your hands free. Cheap and unmanned, so it's even more convenient — Picnic List Mangwon!
Location and hours of Picnic List Mangwon
Address: 1 Mangwon-ro, Mapo-gu / Hours: 11:00–22:00. See the map above for the location.
The address alone screams 'I'm the old-timer of Mangwon Hangang Park,' doesn't it? Mangwon-ro 1!!!!!! The location is really, really great, so I highly recommend it. It's right at the entrance to Mangwon Hangang Park!
I borrowed a photo from the shop's own account, but you really can enjoy the full set just like that.

Just look for this green sign that resembles the Han River. Honestly, since it's the shop guarding the entrance to Mangwon Hangang Park, you don't even need to search for it. It runs as an unmanned rental shop, and thanks to that it's cheaper and you can browse and pick at your own pace — actually a plus!

₩10,000 basic set for 4 hours, and the rental terms
It was full of items that were both practical for a basic picnic and had a nice feel. The basic rental time is 3 hours, plus 1 extra hour if you leave a Naver review. A whopping 4 hours for a ₩10,000 basic set~ The mats and sitting mats were well kept, so I thought this had a bigger edge over other shops.

And it was actually nice to pick out what I needed and pack it myself, step by step. Choosing the combo set that includes a wagon was so good too. Protect the wagon at all costs. The wagon is the most important thing.

What items you can rent
There were also lots of fun board games and sports gear. Perfect to grab something fun when you're heading to Mangwon Hangang Park with friends.

Sunshades and parasols! These matter too. The sunshade is one-touch, so it's super easy~

Fill the picnic basket with bread and off we go~~

There were even quirky party supplies for events — it almost felt like a Daiso, they had everything.

They really made great use of the space. 100 points for the owner's sense of style.

How the unmanned self-rental works
Just use this unmanned self-checkout like so!

Once you've gathered everything, scan the self-service QR code, list the items you rented, and enter your basic contact info! Since it's unmanned, personal honesty is important, right?

Setting up at Mangwon Hangang Park
Ta-da, arrived at Mangwon Hangang Park. The weather did all the work.

No no, Picnic List did all the work. So many people were using Picnic List rentals that I felt a weird sense of camaraderie and it was nice to see. I found a spot and set up everything I'd rented.

The one-touch sunshade was so easy. The mat was clean too, and the wagon made it convenient to carry everything over.

Thanks to the Picnic List rental, I could enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the Han River park.
I laid the sitting mat on the sunshade I'd rented from Picnic List Mangwon and just lay down to look at the sky. It was autumn... welcome, autumn. That feeling of your heart getting fuller and more relaxed hahahahaha

Even the dishware is provided, so you can just show up
And the real reason I came here — not to feel autumn, but to feel Mangwon bread. My bread-hunting recap post is coming soon, but since Picnic List had dishware, I could enjoy the bread I bought right away. Disposable plates and knives, all included. There are even wet wipes, so just bring yourself!

And the item I was most satisfied with among the Picnic List rentals — this chair! They had backrest chairs. Setting it up barely even deserves the word 'assembly,' it's so simple, and it's light!
Looking back at Picnic List while returning the gear. Since it's really right at the entrance to Mangwon Hangang Park, returning was quick and easy too! Next time I go for a picnic at Mangwon Hangang Park, I'm renting all kinds of things here again. Wishing everyone a very autumn-autumn day.
