A tidy Korean set meal near Gachiul Station: Gim Myeongju Tteuranchae Bapsang Bucheon Main Branch

Gim Myeongju Tteuranchae Bapsang Bucheon Main Branch: hours and parking
Open daily from 10:30 to 21:00, with last order at 20:00. There's a dedicated building parking lot so parking is free, and there's plenty of space.
Inside the restaurant and the mood

I was craving a tidy Korean set meal, so I visited Gim Myeongju Tteuranchae Bapsang Bucheon Main Branch near Gachiul. It's in its own standalone building, so it's easy to spot from a distance.
There's dedicated parking right in front of the restaurant, which made driving there easy. Tight parking can make you anxious before you even walk in, but this place was easy to park at, which I liked!!!

There's a self-serve bar set up on one side of the restaurant. It was great to be able to comfortably go back for more of the basic side dishes!

It was kept clean, and any side dish running low was refilled right away. I also liked that the namul (seasoned vegetable) dishes were kept warm on a burner.

What was ordered: Tteuranchae Bapsang set meal plus grilled mackerel

I tried the basic Korean set, the Tteuranchae Bapsang set meal, adding grilled mackerel on top. The set is a Korean-set-meal style menu that comes with cheonggukjang included as standard.
How fast does the 12-dish table arrive?

Not long after ordering, a full 12-course spread was quickly laid out on the table!! The food seemed to come out about as fast as at a Chinese restaurant.

The side dishes were overall seasoned just right and not overpowering, giving off a tidy feel. Nothing too strong-flavored — the kind of food that's easy for anyone to enjoy without polarizing opinions.

The grilled mackerel we ordered alongside came out in a big chunky size on the plate! It was well-seasoned already, so it was tasty even without dipping it in soy sauce or wasabi.

Cheonggukjang stew and pot rice
Even the cheonggukjang, served in a basic ttukbaegi (earthenware pot), was refillable, so we could eat as much as we wanted without feeling short-changed.
The savory cheonggukjang went great with the namul rice too. It's also nice to add a ladle of it when eating bibimbap! It came loaded with tofu, kimchi, radish, and other hearty fillings. There were plenty of soybeans settled at the bottom too.

The rice came as a standard individual pot rice, so I could enjoy nurungji-style scorched rice tea (sungnyung) all the way through! The rice portion was generous too, so I was full.

The banchan lineup on the table
Fried eggplant salad, kimchi, braised burdock root, braised potatoes, pickled peppers, seasoned doraji (bellflower root), seasoned perilla leaves, seasoned dried radish greens, lettuce — such a variety of namul and side dishes came out that the table looked quite generous. I liked that many of these namul dishes are hard to make at home. ^^

The mackerel had thick flesh, so there was a lot to pick off.

It had no fishy smell and the flesh was soft, so it was great to lay a piece on top of the rice bite by bite.
Is it worth a family meal near Gachiul Station?
Overall, the number of side dishes was solid, and it was convenient to be able to comfortably go back for more banchan and stew without feeling awkward about it. Parking is easy and the tables are spacious, so it seems like a good option to stop by near Gachiul Station for a family meal or a tidy Korean meal.
A meal that left me stuffed! Another delicious meal today. ♡ Yum yum
