My body has been so stiff and knotted lately, so I went to get a massage at Busan Seomyeon Thai Massage (부산서면타이마사지), a great Thai massage spot in Seomyeon!
Busan Seomyeon Thai Massage Seomyeon Main Branch: location, hours and parking

It's on the 4th floor of the Hollys building, and you press the bell and they open the door for you! 🔔 It's a 3-minute walk from Seomyeon Station, so it's easy to find.
I'm told the shop brings in massage specialists directly from Thailand, who work with authentic Thai massage techniques. 😊 There are lots of programs, including full-body Thai massage, oil massage and foot massage, so you can pick the care that suits you.
What are the interior and facilities like?
Inside, the lighting is a little dim and the space is fairly large, with separate treatment rooms. There's also a separate foot bath area and a shower room.

The slightly dim lighting makes it cozy, and it's spacious!

Walk down the hallway and you'll find several treatment rooms laid out separately, so you get your treatment in private.

Next to them is a neatly arranged foot bath area. 🫧 One tip: arrive 15 minutes before your booking time to enjoy the foot bath without rushing, so do check your time when you visit!

There's a shower room too, haha.
Can you choose between a Korean and a Thai therapist?

At Busan Seomyeon Thai Massage Seomyeon Main Branch, you can choose between a Korean therapist and a Thai therapist. Whether you prefer a deep, refreshing stretch-focused Thai course, or gentle, soft aroma care or the careful hands-on technique of a Korean therapist, you can pick freely, and that flexibility in choosing is its strength.
1-hour Thai course for ₩50,000: how my first massage went
The course I had was the 1-hour Thai course, priced at ₩50,000. It started with a foot bath, then went through face-down, face-up and seated positions in that order. 💆♀️

Foot bath before the massage
In the treatment room they showed me to, I changed into comfortable clothes and started with the foot bath. 😋 Soaking my feet in warm water calmed my mind and felt so warm and healing. The gentle warmth spread through my body, and I already felt half my tiredness floating away. 🤤

Face down, face up, then finishing seated
After the foot bath, I went for the massage! I started face down. They worked on each area in detail: the whole body, neck, arms, back, legs, even my fingers. The pressure was firm and refreshing, and it hurt at times, but once my body started to loosen up it felt sooo good overall!
Next I lay face up in a normal position, and they slowly loosened my body again in order from the top. 😌 They asked every so often whether it hurt, so I could relax and enjoy it.
After the face-up part, they finish with a seated section. They twisted my body this way and that, and it felt rea~~lly good!
The swelling was gone afterward
When it was over, the swelling was totally gone. It was my first massage, and I finally understood why people get them. 💖

How do you tell a Thai therapist the pressure you want?
Every room at Busan Seomyeon Thai Massage Seomyeon Main Branch has a simple Thai guide, so you can say where it hurts or where you want more work! 🇹🇭 It lists practical words like 'bao bao (gently)' and 'nak nak (hard)'.
Busan Seomyeon Thai Massage Seomyeon Main Branch: overall verdict
Busan Seomyeon Thai Massage Seomyeon Main Branch, a top Seomyeon Thai massage spot, is a Thai massage shop just a 3-minute walk from Seomyeon Station where you can experience the deep massage of experienced specialists from Thailand.
The cozy lighting makes the place relaxing, and the healing starts the moment you walk in. Thanks to the warm foot bath and the 1-hour course that carefully covers everything from the neck to the fingertips, my stress melted away and my body felt much lighter. As the knotted muscles loosened, the swelling went right down, which was amazing and put me in a great mood, haha.
If your body usually feels stiff, or you want to relieve stress with a couple's massage together with someone special, I recommend paying a visit. 😊😊😊
