In short
Seomyeon Milmyeon is a milmyeon (Busan wheat noodle) restaurant in Eos Plaza, near Seomyeon Station Exit 8 in Busanjin, Busan. The writer tried the whole menu of mul milmyeon, bibim milmyeon and chewy mandu (dumplings), and the standout pairing was the sesame-oil-scented bibim milmyeon served in a little broth with mandu that stay chewy even after cooling. I went to Seomyeon Milmyeon (서면밀면), the Busan milmyeon place I make a point of visiting every summer. If you're craving a cold bowl of milmyeon, this is the spot, and here's my review after trying everything on the menu :)
How to get to Seomyeon Milmyeon and where to park
Come out of Seomyeon Station Exit 8 and walk straight ahead. Pass Starbucks, cross the crosswalk, and you'll see it right on your left.

It's close to the subway station, so it's easy to reach by public transport. If you're driving, use the parking lot of Eos Plaza, the building Seomyeon Milmyeon is in. They give you 30 minutes of free parking, so you can park and eat without stress.
Inside Seomyeon Milmyeon: seating and wait times

The restaurant is spacious and clean. There are lots of tables, so even at busy times it's fine. In summer there's a wait, but the milmyeon comes out fast and tables turn over quickly, so the wait is worth it!

There's a self-serve bar in the middle of the restaurant. Grab your own spoons, baby cutlery and small plates there.

There are also celebrity autographs on the wall. Interior worthy of a true Busan milmyeon joint ^.^
Seomyeon Milmyeon menu and how to order at the kiosk

The menu is just mul milmyeon (cold broth noodles), bibim milmyeon (spicy mixed noodles) and mandu. One noodle dish and mandu as the only side, so it's a place that really focuses on milmyeon. If you eat a lot, you can go for the extra-large portion or add extra noodles to make it more filling.

You order first at the kiosk when you walk in. After ordering, a staff member shows you to a seat. Even when there's a wait, order first and then wait, and staff will call you when it's your turn.

The warm broth is the first thing I always drink at a milmyeon or naengmyeon (cold noodle) place! If that's good, I get even more excited for the noodles >_< The warm broth here isn't salty, just nicely seasoned and clean, and so delicious.

The basic setup is danmuji (pickled radish) and mu kimchi (radish kimchi). I ordered mandu too, so they also gave me soy sauce for dipping.
How does Seomyeon Milmyeon's bibim milmyeon taste?

The bibim milmyeon smells gently of sesame oil. Noodles and a generous pile of seasoning sit on top of a thin layer of broth. They also add plenty of meat topping, which makes it even better!

Before mixing properly, eat the egg first! It's coated in the sweet, sour and spicy sauce, so the egg is delicious too ^.^

The milmyeon here comes topped with meat as standard. It's even better eaten together. Honestly, meat is good with anything~
Then mix it all up with a good swish. There are lots of noodles, so it's really hefty. Thanks to the sesame oil and broth, it's easy to mix. It's a slightly watery bibim style, not thick or dry, so you can slurp it down smoothly.

Nicely tangy bibim milmyeon! It's pleasantly spicy, which makes it even better. It feels like it brings back an appetite you didn't have. And the sesame oil aroma keeps rising as you eat, so it's nutty and has even more depth of flavor.
What is the mul milmyeon broth like at Seomyeon Milmyeon?

The mul milmyeon is full of slushy icy broth. Mix the seasoning on top into the noodles well and eat.

They say the broth for the mul milmyeon is simmered carefully for 72 hours. Seomyeon Milmyeon is a Busan milmyeon place that's serious about its broth! The color looks light, but with the spicy seasoning added the flavor is rich and clean.
Seomyeon Milmyeon's chewy mandu: still good when cold?

The mandu here are chewy mandu! The wrappers are so springy and chewy, and the texture is great.

Dip them lightly in soy sauce and eat them warm for the best experience. Mandu with milmyeon is a must-have combo. But since they're chewy mandu, they taste good even cold. The chewy texture seems to get even better as they cool!

I ordered bibim milmyeon so I could wrap noodles around the mandu and eat them together >_< Chewy mandu with the springy yet soft milmyeon noodles here is the best combo. The mandu go better with the bibim sauce than with soy sauce!

My companion finished a whole bowl in no time. It was also the best hangover meal, this Busan milmyeon place, Seomyeon Milmyeon ^.^ If you're looking for a milmyeon restaurant, head to Seomyeon Milmyeon, the Seomyeon spot worth a wait. Summer must-do course in Seomyeon, already achieved!
