Daegu dog café with a 2nd-floor indoor playground

It's been so hot lately that walking dogs during the day just isn't easy ㅠㅠ Whenever that happens, I go to a dog-friendly café! Today I visited Daenghaus&Bingsuking (댕하우스&빙수킹), a dog café in Daegu ~~~ It's spacious and clean, and there were so many cute dogs there that Tori had a blast. Here's my review 🐾

Where is Daenghaus&Bingsuking, and how big is it?

Daenghaus&Bingsuking is located in Dongseongno near Yangnyeongsi ~~ The whole building is the Daenghaus building, so it's easy to spot right away! Which probably explains why the café is such an impressive size haha

You order via kiosk! Since the whole building belongs to Daenghaus, the scale was huge. The interior is so spacious that the dogs had plenty of room to run around happily, which I loved!

What's on the menu for people and for dogs?

The menu has a wide range of drinks, coffee, and even meals, so you could easily grab a proper meal here too. There's also a dog menu, so it'd be great for treating your pup to something special on a fun day out hahaha 🐾

There's also a wide variety of cakes and desserts, so it's not just the dogs having a good time — the owners can enjoy themselves too, in all kinds of ways!!! Dog cafés often skimp on the quality of drinks or treats, but there was so much delicious food here ~

It looked like there were dogs staying for hoteling, so there were tons of cute dogs inside, which made Tori even more excited to have so many friends around. If you want to ask about hoteling, just contact Daenghaus directly!

The summer pool and terrace yard at Daenghaus&Bingsuking

Daenghaus, the dog-friendly café in Daegu, also has a pool you can enjoy in summer. A space where you can stay cool indoors and even go for a swim — how great is that? They even thoughtfully provided tubes haha

There are life vests too, so even dogs who can't swim can enjoy the water without worry hahaha

It's artificial turf, but I loved that dogs can still run around freely in the outdoor terrace yard! We came because Tori hadn't been able to be active outdoors lately, but being able to do both indoor and outdoor activities here was so great

Are manner belts required at Daenghaus&Bingsuking?

I was surprised that Daenghaus doesn't require manner belts — apparently they don't make it mandatory because it can feel uncomfortable for the dogs. Dogs prone to marking do need to wear one, but owners still have to clean up any waste, just so you know ~? I really appreciated that they think things through from the dogs' perspective!

The seating was really comfortable too, spacious enough for a group visit — at a glance, it barely felt like a dog café at all. Daenghaus, the dog-friendly café in Daegu, is so good!!!

Injeolmi red bean bingsu and natural soap for dogs

We'd already had coffee before, so we ordered bingsu (shaved ice dessert) this time haha This is the injeolmi red bean bingsu. The portion was way too much for two people, so we had more than enough and then some,,

You can also buy dog-only soap here. It's said to be natural soap that's good for dogs with sensitive or delicate skin hahaha

While we were eating bingsu, dogs kept coming over one by one to say hi, and it was too cute,, Tori got excited and ran around with them too, so adorable — no fighting now, get along nicely everyone ~~~~

Second-floor playground: training equipment and a gym ball

We went up to the 2nd floor. There's a proper playground where the dogs can really run around! There's also equipment for training, and even a gym ball used for rehab therapy ㅎㅅㅎ Miss Tori was busy running around and sniffing everything happily on the 2nd floor too ㅋㅋㅋ
