Sundaeguk near Seolleung Station with unlimited sundae refills

I heard there was a sundaeguk (blood sausage soup) place near Seolleung Station with really deep, rich broth, so I went to check it out. Sundaeguk is the famous dish here, but even the sundae itself is all-you-can-eat! Liver, lungs, all the internal bits too..♥ This was the first time I'd seen such a generous soup place in Gangnam, so I wanted to share it right away haha.

Inside Dawonok — hanok-style interior

Dawonok is styled like a hanok (traditional Korean house) on the outside, but stepping inside felt just as elegant, like walking into a beautiful hanok.

There's a variety of seating too — tables for 2, 4, and 8 or more — so it seems great for family gatherings, meeting friends, or even eating alone comfortably!

We ordered sundaeguk with pyeonyuk jeongsik and spicy sundaeguk (large)

We ordered Dawonok's signature sundaeguk + pyeonyuk jeongsik (boiled meat set), plus a spicy sundaeguk (large) :) Most other customers seemed to be eating sundaeguk too. Definitely confirmed this is a sundaeguk specialty restaurant!

All-you-can-eat sundae, lung, and liver at the self-serve bar

Kkakdugi (radish kimchi) and kimchi, plus spicy chili and onion — the essentials for sundaeguk — were all set out ~!

Dawonok's self-serve bar has sundae, lung, liver and more, so if you love sundae, you absolutely have to visit Dawonok Daechi Main Branch :) I'd never seen an all-you-can-eat bar with sundae, lung, AND liver before!!!

How spicy is the spicy sundaeguk?

If you like a spicy kick, I recommend the spicy sundaeguk too! It's not too spicy — just the right level of tasty heat.

The spicy sundaeguk isn't overly hot, just pleasantly sharp, and it paired really well with the fatty pyeonyuk!

What's inside, and how the sundae tastes

Can you see how generous the portion of sundaeguk is...! There's a good variety of ingredients inside, so it was fun to eat :)

Not a trace of gamy smell in the offal haha. It went great with the chives mixed in too.

This wasn't cheap store-bought sundae — it had a genuinely deep, high-quality flavor. The best :)

Order the pyeonyuk as the set meal

Dipped the pyeonyuk in saeujeot (salted shrimp sauce) for a bite! I'd recommend always ordering pyeonyuk as the jeongsik (set meal). I don't usually get to eat pyeonyuk on its own, so it feels like a bit of a treat, and eating it alongside the sundaeguk made it even better :)

All-you-can-eat sundae, a comfortable atmosphere, and rich, deep broth — I've introduced Dawonok Daechi Main Branch, a place with no reason not to visit! As the weather gets colder, if you're craving hot, deeply flavored broth, I definitely recommend paying Dawonok Daechi Main Branch a visit!
