This time I visited Anew Hair Cheongdam Main Branch in Cheongdam-dong with my sister 🥰 I've always been interested in scalp and hair care, not just hairstyles, so this time my sister decided to try a scalp and hair care treatment :) I was especially excited because we got to be looked after directly by head stylist Eunbyeol, well known for Gangnam hair consulting 👍🏻

Anew Hair Cheongdam Main Branch is on the 2nd floor, so I checked the shop location at the building entrance before heading up. True to a Cheongdam-dong hair salon, it had a clean, sophisticated feel :)

I especially liked how clean and stylish the entrance door leading in was. The whole atmosphere was calm and modern, matching the Cheongdam-dong salon vibe perfectly :)

The interior was decorated neatly in white tones, and the space was bigger than I expected, which I loved. It never felt cramped anywhere — it was spacious and pleasant, so I could relax comfortably while waiting.

There were neat cabinets to store personal belongings, which was convenient 🥰 Everything felt clean and well organized, and I really liked that :)

While my sister was getting her treatment, I waited, and they even brought me a cup of coffee 😍 It made the waiting time so much more pleasant, and I appreciated that they thought of even this small touch :)

Hair consulting that starts with a scalp diagnosis

We got our consultation from head stylist Eunbyeol! Rather than jumping straight into the treatment, she carefully checked the scalp condition first 😆

She checked the current scalp and hair condition one item at a time, explaining everything kindly and in detail, which really helped us understand the scalp's condition 👏🏻 I don't usually get a chance to check my scalp condition closely, so going through this made me realize why regular care matters!

It wasn't just a visual check — she examined it closely with a machine and explained as she went, which built even more trust 🫶🏻 After the consultation, we were led to the shampoo room in the VIP room 🥰 It was nice to receive the full scalp and hair care treatment in such a quiet, comfortable space :)

How the scalp and hair care went

The treatment we received this time was scalp and hair care! Looking at the before photo, my sister's hair overall lacked shine and was a bit frizzy!

Since my sister's hair tends to be dry and frizzy, the treatment included a process to thoroughly supply moisture to the hair! They made sure to keep it hydrated so her hair wouldn't get too dry :)

After that, they added nutrients needed for the scalp and hair 👍🏻 It clearly looked different from the shampoo and treatment routine you'd do at home.

The memorable phytoncide care

What stood out the most was the phytoncide care. The scent that spread gently through the air made even me feel more relaxed while my sister was being treated! haha

They carefully worked through the process of filling my sister's dry, frizzy hair with moisture and nutrients step by step, so I was already looking forward to the before-and-after difference 😆

Especially the ends looked smoothly tidied up, so the before-and-after difference really stood out!

Looking at the after photo, my sister's hair had become so glossy and swishy — I was completely satisfied! Before the treatment it was frizzy and lacked shine, but after the care it changed noticeably 👍🏻 Her hair felt softer and calmer overall! Comparing the before and after photos, the difference was so clear that my sister was very pleased too!
