Great news for Cheongju pizza lovers!! Cheese Wave has landed in Cheongju~~ I'd heard it has serious Instagram vibes and the pizza tastes insane too, so I went in with high hopes — and yep, it lived up to them!!!! Let me introduce Cheese Wave Cheongju Terminal Branch.

Where do you park?
Parking here is honestly a nightmare.. it's near the terminal, so I'd really recommend taking the bus ㅠ Right next to Cheese Wave they cleared a no-parking zone so you can fit one or two cars. Also, apparently there's no enforcement after 6pm. I just parked at the Lotte Mart across the street and did some grocery shopping. But wow, parking fees there have gone up too.. you need to spend ₩30,000 just to get 2 hours of parking settled..^^
The vibe and seating
They also show sports broadcasts. It'd be great to come here for pizza and beer when there's a soccer match on~
They also have kids' chairs.
Self-order system
You serve yourself pickles, so please just take as much as you'll actually eat, for the environment — promise!
Ketchup, hot sauce, parmesan cheese, and crushed pepper are on the table by default.

Perfect from looks to taste — a pizza of a lifetime
The crust thickness is just right and the toppings are piled on generously!! I really love pizza and go around trying different places, but this one is genuinely delicious~ pizza's been on point lately ㅋㅋㅋ!!
There's barely any edge crust! A lot of people don't eat the edge anyway, but since it's thin here, it's not off-putting and I cleared all four slices of each flavor.
With the ingredients loaded on generously, the rich cheese flavor and fresh toppings came together beautifully. Cheese, I love you ㅠ the salty cheese fills your whole mouth.
If you didn't drive, please drink a beer for me........
The sundried shrimp pizza has plump, springy shrimp and tangy sundried tomatoes that feel like they reset your palate! Perfect to eat partway through.
Still, my favorite is the sweet potato~~~ the sweet potato mousse completes the sweet-and-salty combo.

Recommended when a group can't agree on flavors
It's all crowd-pleasing combinations with basically no downside, so when you can't decide or a group has different tastes, this one pizza solves everything! Don't agonize over picking between different pizzas — I strongly recommend enjoying variety with the Quattro Wave. Or pick two flavors you're into and order Half and Half.
