Songjeong café in Busan for non-alcoholic makgeolli: Suwolgyeonghwa
In short
Suwolgyeonghwa is a hanok-style tea café on the 4th floor near Songjeong Beach in Haeundae, Busan, with a bamsil (night outing) service from 7pm to 11pm that serves a different concept drink each day of the week. On this repeat visit the night-only makgeolli (Thursday), soft drink (Wednesday) and dessert cost 8,500 won each, and the standouts were the alcohol-free makgeolli that still tasted like rice wine and the clean, flower-scented soft drink. Suwolgyeonghwa is worth returning to for both the mood and the drinks.

Hanok-style exterior and the 4th-floor tea room
The café's exterior is done in a traditional hanok style. The wooden entrance and lovely garden bring tradition and modernity together in harmony. Stepping in feels like spending time inside a hanok.

Once inside, a cozy atmosphere hits you right away. It's beautifully decorated with old-fashioned pieces.
The lighting is soft, and the comfortable chairs and tables make you want to stay a long time. Each table has its own lamp, so you really feel the mood.

Warm lighting and natural-material furniture come together in harmony. It's great for chatting with friends or reading alone.
The bamsil night menu changes by the day
The bamsil menu is special. Monday through Sunday each has a different concept for the drinks. We picked the dessert, the makgeolli (Thursday), and the soft drink (Wednesday).

- Dessert ₩8,500
- Makgeolli (Thursday) ₩8,500
- Soft drink (Wednesday) ₩8,500
Non-alcoholic makgeolli (Thursday), 8,500 won

The makgeolli has a soft, nutty flavor that really stands out. I was surprised the moment I tasted it — it's alcohol-free but genuinely tastes like makgeolli.
Floral soft drink (Wednesday), 8,500 won

There are various types of soft drink to pick from, so you can choose one to your taste. I went with the Wednesday one, and the visual was insane. It even has a floral scent, and the taste is so clean.
Night dessert, 8,500 won

The dessert menu is also unmissable. The pretty-looking desserts catch your eye right away.
This dessert is a must-order. Enjoying it here while taking your time is really wonderful too.

Why pair Suwolgyeonghwa with the Songjeong beach train
The desserts look great, so they're perfect for photos too. Visiting alongside the Songjeong Beach Train makes for an even more special experience. Riding the beach train while looking out at the sea on your way to the café is genuinely romantic. Enjoying your time at Suwolgyeonghwa together with the beach scenery makes for an unforgettable memory.

I ate them in the recommended order, and the sweet red bean filling melts in your mouth. It was a full sugar recharge.
