Is Wit&Meat Seoul Station a good place to eat before the KTX?

Wit&Meat Seoul Station is an American-style handmade burger shop on the Grand Central lobby level, right by the Seoul Station exit. I heard it even won a Blue Ribbon for its American-style sandwich. It is open 11:00–21:00 and takes groups, takeout and delivery.

I stopped by to eat in a hurry before my KTX (Korea's high-speed train). It is so close to the Seoul Station exit, and the burgers came out fast, so there was plenty of time to eat and still catch the train~!

[KTX boarding tip] After eating, go in through Seoul Station Exit 4 and walk underground all the way to Seoul Station (KTX), about 5 minutes, and you'll reach the station entrance!

How to find Wit&Meat Seoul Station in Grand Central

As soon as you step into the Seoul Station Grand Central entrance, you'll see Wit&Meat right there on the first floor! There's a big photo of a burger cross-section next to the sign, so you can't miss it~

There are tables outside, so you can eat out here too!

There's a menu board outside too, so it was easy to check before going in! haha

There were even mouthwatering photos, haha. One look at the Double Cheeseburger and I was sold. Ordered right away!!! hahaha

Inside Wit&Meat: a classic American burger joint feel

The inside of Wit&Meat Seoul Station gives off total American vibes! Is this Seoul Station or America?!

It reminded me of the burger places I used to go to in the US. The interior looks just like an ordinary American burger joint, which was so fun to see!

Each menu item had a photo: the All Mighty Burger, Queens Burger, Shrimp Jambon Burger, Double Cheeseburger~! They all looked so, so good that choosing was really hard T_T

A sink and plastic gloves: Wit&Meat's thoughtful touches

The best touch at Wit&Meat Seoul Station is the sink right inside the shop! It's so convenient for washing your hands before the burger or rinsing off the grease afterward! Full marks for thoughtfulness haha. I washed my hands, devoured the burger, and washed my hands clean again on the way out!

You can order at the kiosk! Burgers come as single items or sets, and there are plenty of sandwiches and sides too. I heard the American-style sandwich Pastrami Queens even earned a Blue Ribbon~!

• Burgers (single or set): Chili Cheese Bacon, Shrimp Jambon, All Mighty, Double All Mighty, Cheese, Double Cheese, Queens Burger
• Sandwiches: Pastrami Queens, Jambon-Beurre (ham and butter baguette), Basil Arugula Jambon-Beurre
• Sides: Clam Chowder Soup, French Fries, Chipotle Fries, Cheese Fries, Chili Cheese Fries, Coleslaw, Carrot Rapée (French-style carrot salad)

It's a burger place, but there's coffee and dessert too, so you can do your meal and café stop in one go!

You can also order at the counter, and with several promotions running, the bill came out a bit cheaper!

Mustard, ketchup and hot sauce, plus forks, knives, napkins and plastic gloves!!! Everything was perfectly set out. Such a great touch. I've never seen a burger place with plastic gloves~~

How does the All Mighty Burger set taste?

The All Mighty Burger set and the Double Cheeseburger we ordered at Wit&Meat Seoul Station came out almost right away!!!! I guess that's what you get at a burger place.

This is the All Mighty Burger!!! A beef patty, cheese, tomato, red onion and lettuce stacked in harmony between a nicely toasted bun haha

Cut neatly, you can really see the cross-section, right? The rich sauce tied everything together. The bun was really good and the meat tasted properly meaty, so it felt really hearty. The veggies were fresh, the yellow sauce was the kicker! Even the fries were perfect. My husband started raving too haha

Double Cheeseburger vs All Mighty Burger: what's the difference?

Unlike the All Mighty Burger, Wit&Meat's Double Cheeseburger drops the lettuce and has double the meat and cheese haha. The patty in the All Mighty was so good that I was even more excited for this one haha

See the rich sauce and cheese? One bite and your mouth is totally full. Really rich and packed with flavor, a feast of meat and cheese, the taste of America itself! If Five Guys is America's original heavy flavor, this was a more classic version with a touch more freshness added.

My husband and I kept giving thumbs-up while eating, lol. Thumbs-up again and again, "so good," on repeat, and we happily finished everything haha. My husband normally leaves his fries, but here he ate them all lol. He said they were just that good...

My husband and I had a happy, simple dinner at Seoul Station and made our KTX in plenty of time. If you're looking for a quick bite at Seoul Station, a place where food comes out fast, or a filling meal before the KTX, I highly recommend Wit&Meat Seoul Station~~~~
