Busan dessert café for Lotus choco financier and mini butter bar: CORR
In short
CORR is a handmade dessert café in Sajik-dong, Dongnae-gu, Busan, near Sajik Baseball Stadium. Over watermelon juice and a CORR latte, a friend and I tried fig, salt choco, Lotus choco and plain financiers (2,800 to 3,500 won) plus a 2,800-won mini butter bar, and all four financiers were crisp outside and moist inside. With big windows, wood-tone interiors, two private rooms and a parking lot out back, CORR is a calm café for a quiet conversation.

I heard there was a café with a great atmosphere in Sajik-dong, Busan, so I went to check it out. It's CORR (코르), near Sajik Baseball Stadium. I love desserts, and it's said to be one of Busan's top three financier (small almond butter cake) spots, so I went in with high hopes. From the atmosphere to the desserts it was pretty good, so here's my review.
Where is CORR and what are its opening hours?
Address: 66 Yeogo-ro, Dongnae-gu, Busan, 1st floor (750m from Sajik Station Exit 2)
If you come from the back gate of Busan National University of Education or from Daeseon Distillery toward Sajik Stadium, you can easily spot CORR at the intersection.
Hours: 09:00 - 22:00 (last order 21:30)
Is there parking at CORR in Sajik-dong?
Parking: there's a lot behind the café, for about 5-6 cars. On weekends, they say you can park in the alley beside the café.

It's at the intersection near Busan National University of Education and Yeomyeong Middle School, and the red brick makes it easy to find. An older teacher walking by asked what this place was, and I told him it's a café.

I had to double park. Everyone parked in front is a café customer, so if they call you, you just move your car. Parking is tough at cafés in Dongnae-gu or Yeonje-gu when I have errands there, so it was a relief that CORR has a lot. Less confident drivers should be careful, though. Okay, let's go inside.
CORR interior and private rooms

Sunlight comes in softly through the big windows, and the warm wood-tone interior kept me comfortable the whole time. There are sofas too ^^ It feels cozy, and the seats are nicely spaced out.

There are even two separate private rooms, so it's a good place for small gatherings or study sessions. Transparent tables and transparent chairs give it a fresh feel.

The desserts look so tempting. A sparrow can't just pass by a rice mill (as the Korean saying goes), so I picked up a bit of everything.

An americano is ₩4,300, so the price is fine. Check the photo for the full menu and prices. They have bottled drinks too~

You can see the owner's love for the café everywhere. Are those wine bottles down there? They're all wearing Santa hats ^^ It's like an open kitchen at a restaurant. You can see all of the café's inside, and it's tidy.
Sajik-dong café CORR / dessert hotspot / Busan financier hotspot

While chatting with my friend, our order arrived... wow~~~ I couldn't help but gasp, haha. Is it food or art?!
What we ordered at CORR and the prices

We ordered a cold watermelon juice (₩6,000) and the signature CORR latte (₩6,300). For desserts, a mini butter bar (₩2,800), plus a fig financier (₩3,500), salt choco financier (₩3,300), Lotus choco financier (₩3,500) and plain financier (₩2,800). The dessert prices are friendly too.

I'd already had coffee that morning, so I went for the watermelon juice. It was sweet and so refreshing it wiped out my thirst, perfect for summer. My friend chose the CORR latte, topped with smooth cream like an Einspänner (cream-topped coffee). It was sweet and blew her tiredness away.
How the four financiers and mini butter bar taste

The desserts here were really satisfying. The salt choco, fig, Lotus choco and plain financiers were all not soggy at all, crisp outside and moist inside, a textbook case of "crispy outside, moist inside." My friend's pick was the salt choco financier! She likes salt bread too ^^

The choco and Lotus ones weren't just overly sweet either. They were crunchy and sweet, and the tiredness melted right away. Honestly, I'd driven an hour that morning and already handled two jobs, so I was really tired, haha. Relaxing on the soft sofa and winding down the day made me happy ^^ They were all good, but my picks are the Lotus choco financier and the butter bar.

I think it would go even better with coffee. Next time I'll have it with an americano. The mini knife is adorable too ^^
I snapped one shot when no one was in front of me. Summer... the sky has been so pretty lately.

The mini butter bar also has a rich flavor and a great texture, and I think it would go much better with coffee. It tastes upscale. Looking at the photo, I want it again. I officially confirm this place's desserts are the real deal!

I took a video too. There's some fancy movement in it, so be sure to watch, haha.
Verdict on CORR, Sajik-dong dessert café
Overall, CORR in Sajik-dong is a space where you get both tasty handmade desserts and a cozy atmosphere. If you're looking for a café near Sajik Baseball Stadium for quiet conversation, or you like crispy-outside, moist-inside financiers, it's worth a stop. The private rooms also seem good for small private gatherings.
Oh my, this photo has a Christmas vibe!
