I wanted to spend some quiet time with a coffee near Guui Station, so I stopped by Center Coffee Guui East Pole ☕️ It's a cafe inside East Pole, so it's easy to pop into after shopping or a meal — and when I visited, the space was pretty spacious with generous gaps between tables, which I really liked.

Where is Center Coffee Guui East Pole and how do you get there?

Center Coffee Guui East Pole is on B1 of NC East Pole, right by Exit 3 of Guui Station. It's open daily from 10am to 10pm, last order at 9:30pm, and parking is available at the East Pole parking lot.

At first I thought a cafe inside a mall might be crowded and hectic, but when I went it was quiet enough to sit calmly.

Seating and atmosphere: is Center Coffee Guui East Pole good for laptop work?

Even though the store itself is underground, the space is wide and the ceilings are high, so it felt comfortable rather than cramped.

Overall the atmosphere is clean and uncluttered, so it didn't feel like a burden to sit for a long time 👀 There's a good variety of seating, from tables for two up to spots for larger groups, so it looked fine whether you're coming alone or chatting with a friend.

Personally, I love a spacious cafe like this?! There was plenty of room on the tables to spread out a laptop or books, so if you're looking for a Guui Station cafe that works for getting things done, this seemed like a good option.

That said, since it's an open-layout store, it's not as completely quiet as a dedicated study cafe~~~ Think of it more as a comfortable spot for studying or working while sipping coffee!

Center Coffee also has menu items like ice cream and affogato, and the dessert lineup changes with the season, so browsing the showcase when you visit is fun in itself!

I wasn't up for a lot of caffeine that day so I went with decaf. It had that clean, smooth cold brew character without lingering too heavily, so it was easy to drink.

It wasn't the type where the coffee flavor felt weak just because it's decaf. Center Coffee's decaf cold brew is described as using Ethiopian Yirgacheffe beans, bringing out milk chocolate, almond, and raisin-like flavors, with almost no acidity and a clean style.

The one I had in the cafe went down clean rather than feeling harsh or bitter, so it should suit anyone looking for a good decaf coffee.

Korean melon (chamoe) yogurt smoothie

I ordered the melon yogurt smoothie out of curiosity, and the name alone screams summer haha?! The subtle sweetness of melon combined with the tangy, smooth flavor of yogurt made it more refreshing to drink than I expected.

If it were just melon, the drink might have felt a bit one-note, but with the yogurt added, the flavor came across a bit brighter and fresher.

Chodang corn ice cream

And the one I was most curious about was the Chodang corn ice cream 🌽 The nutty, sweet flavor unique to corn came through subtly in the ice cream, giving it a different kind of appeal from regular vanilla ice cream.

Chodang sweet corn has a distinct sweet flavor, so each bite was nutty and sweet, and as the ice cream melted cold and smooth, the nutty corn taste lingered afterward — it paired really well with coffee too 🍦

Center Coffee Guui East Pole felt like a spacious cafe that's easy to relax in inside East Pole 🤍 It's on B1, but the space is wide and never felt stuffy, and the tables were spread out enough that it seemed fine to sit alone with a laptop or a book for a while.

There were coffee choices ranging from decaf to hand drip, and desserts like scones, cake, and tiramisu, so there was plenty to pick from depending on your taste. If you're looking for a Guui Station cafe or an East Pole cafe with a wide, relaxed space to enjoy your coffee, this is worth a stop ✌🏻
