Why pack lunch at Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station before a train?

I had a business trip through Seoul Station, so I went looking for something simple to eat on the train. Since it was a work trip, I wanted something a bit cleaner and healthier than just grabbing whatever, rather than eating on the run. That's how I found Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station.

Actually, I already knew Dance Dance Dance from Hannam-dong (한남동) — I'd had it there before and loved it — but I didn't realize they'd opened a branch at Seoul Station too. No need to go all the way to Hannam-dong now; it's great to be able to stop by at Seoul Station whenever I'm traveling or taking a train.

Where is Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station, and what are the hours?

Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station is at B306-2, B3, Grand Central, 14 Sejong-daero, Jung-gu, Seoul, South Korea.

It's near Seoul Station, so it's easy to stop by before catching a train!! Since it's underground, you could easily walk right past it at first, but you'll find it once you head into Grand Central. Hours are 7 AM to 7 PM, so it's convenient for early risers using Seoul Station too. It's a good spot for breakfast, lunch, a light dinner, or takeout.

The shop had a clean, casual vibe. Since it's inside Seoul Station, it felt like an easy place to eat alone without any awkwardness! You can eat in, but for someone like me who needed to catch a train, takeout was just as easy.

What's on the sandwich menu at Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station?

Looking at the menu, there were more sandwich options than I expected. There were solid meal-type sandwiches like the chicken breast sandwich and the baguette sandwich, as well as things like a jambon jalapeño sandwich. And of course, no Dance Dance Dance visit is complete without mentioning the tofu cream cheese baguette — their signature, made with handmade tofu cream cheese combining tofu and cream cheese, stuffed into a baguette.

Looks like they make the baguettes and ciabatta in-house — you could see them right there in the showcase!

You can swap to ciabatta depending on your taste, and get it as a set too — so nice!!

Chicken breast sandwich: how it tasted on the train

This time I took out a chicken breast sandwich and a baguette sandwich to eat on the train. The chicken breast sandwich, true to its name, was loaded with chicken breast, and it was softer than expected, not dry at all.

The chicken breast seemed to be tossed in a handmade sauce, which made it much moister than a sandwich with plain chicken breast alone.

You get your protein in, and with the bread, it didn't feel lacking as a full meal at all. You could also choose between ciabatta and baguette!

Baguette sandwich: chewy crust worth the order

The baguette sandwich had a different charm from the chicken breast sandwich.

It came with vegetables, cheese, and handmade ham, and all the ingredients blended together well, so each bite had a mix of different flavors.

But what I liked most was the texture of the baguette itself. Sometimes sandwiches disappoint when the bread is too soft, but this one had that distinct baguette chew — really satisfying to bite into.

Would I grab Seoul Station takeout here again?

I remember really enjoying Dance Dance Dance back in Hannam-dong, and now that there's a branch at Seoul Station, it's definitely more accessible. Especially at Seoul Station, where I'm often looking for something to eat on the go before catching a train, sandwiches are easy to pack and just as good to eat on the train.

This time I stopped by in a rush because of the business trip, but next time I'd love to visit with more time to spare and try the tofu cream cheese baguette or other sandwiches too, haha.
