Seoul Station brunch restaurant set with cream soup: Dance Dance Dance

In short

Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station is a sandwich and baguette brunch spot on level B3 of Grand Central in Jung-gu, Seoul. The Dance Brunch Set is 18,900 won, and at Dance Dance Dance it came with a jambon jalapeño sandwich (+3,000 won) on a free ciabatta swap, an iced americano, and a button mushroom cream soup that matched the sandwich well on a first try. The sandwich alone is big enough for a full meal, and the leftover coffee travels nicely on a walk along Seoullo afterward.

What is Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station

Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station is a sandwich and baguette brunch spot on B3 of Grand Central, at 14 Sejong-daero, Jung-gu, Seoul. It's open daily from 07:00 to 19:00 with last order at 18:30. Today I went and had a sandwich set at Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station — people also just call it 'Dandaedan' for short!!

This is one of my go-to-go-to-go-to spots, so since it's a place I love, I strongly recommend it. You can easily enjoy anything from a simple coffee to a full brunch set here?! If you love sandwiches, run here right now!

Grand Central B3, open-air tables

This place is in the basement of a building called Grand Central near Seoul Station, which houses a lot of companies but is also famous for exhibitions! So it's great to grab a sandwich even if you're just there to see an exhibition~

Right in front of the store there are tables like this, set up open-air, so it feels wide open with no stuffy vibes at all.

Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station sells a wide variety — sandwiches, baguettes, and coffee — so it's an easy stop anytime. You don't even need to be doing full brunch, it's great just for a quick coffee too!

Honestly, the first time I ate here I wondered if a sandwich alone would really fill me up, but the sandwiches here are sized so solidly... one sandwich and I'm completely full haha.

The ₩18,900 Dance Brunch Set — what comes with it

  • Dance Brunch Set ₩18,900 (sandwich + soup + coffee)
  • Swapped to jambon jalapeño sandwich (+₩3,000)
The Dance Brunch Set laid out on the table

What I ordered was the Dance Brunch Set! It comes with a sandwich and mushroom cream soup. I chose the jambon jalapeño sandwich (+₩3,000), and you can also pick your bread — between baguette and ciabatta, I went with ciabatta! Choosing the bread type comes with no extra charge >< I was craving something soft today haha. And for the coffee, I went with an iced americano!

Iced americano in a disposable paper cup

The coffee cup already smelled amazing haha. It came in a disposable paper cup, so you can take the leftovers with you if you don't finish~

Warm mushroom cream soup served in a bowl

Mushroom cream soup, tried for the first time

Mushroom cream soup! I've been to Dance Dance Dance many times, but this was my first time trying the cream soup 🍲 It's served warm, and I bet it's even better in winter!!!

Scooping a spoonful of the cream soup

The softness of the cream and the flavor of the mushrooms go really well with the sandwich. Alternating between the sandwich and the soup was a perfect combo!

Jambon jalapeño sandwich swapped onto ciabatta bread

Jambon jalapeño sandwich, on ciabatta

And now, the star of the show — the sandwich ❤️ It's got its own charm on baguette too, but on days you're craving something soft, ciabatta is the way to go! Being able to swap the bread for free according to your taste is such a great touch.

Cross-section of the sandwich showing the jambon ham

I can't quit jambon ham because of its salty, savory flavor ㅜㅜ The more you chew it, the more that nutty flavor comes through — that's the highlight.

Inside the sandwich with cream cheese and jalapeño

And since jambon alone might get a bit much, there's cream cheese and jalapeño in there too, so the sandwich covers both softness and a bit of a tangy kick.

Finely diced jalapeño visible in the sandwich

The jalapeño was finely diced too, so I could enjoy it without it being overwhelming 😍

Walking on Seoullo with leftover coffee after the meal

After eating, I sipped my leftover coffee and took a walk on Seoullo 🚶‍♂️ The weather was great and it was such a healing day : ) ❤️

Final verdict

Every time I come here I'm completely satisfied, so I strongly recommend it haha. It's a place where you can enjoy anything from a simple coffee to a full brunch set! And the sandwich is bigger than you'd expect, so no need to worry about whether it'll fill you up...

Being able to choose between ciabatta and baguette for free based on your taste is also super appealing ❤️ There are a lot of offices nearby, so it seemed like a great spot for people working around here to zip over during lunch break too.
