Chuncheon campsite with kids' play area and river water sports: Urban

Today I'm bringing you a Chuncheon camping trip review!! I went in expecting a lot since it's a place where you can camp and enjoy water sports at the same time, and it exceeded expectations 😍

The place I visited is Urban Slow City! If you're looking for a Chuncheon camping site and want to enjoy water sports too, read on 😉✨

Urban Slow City is an aesthetic Chuncheon camping site located in Nam-myeon, Chuncheon, an hour from Seoul!

With mountains on three sides and the Bukhangang River flowing in front, it's a healing camping site surrounded by nature where you can enjoy both a relaxing camping vibe and various water sports activities at once — the whole site felt private and nature-friendly 🌿

If you want to properly enjoy camping in Chuncheon, water sports are a must, right~ The advantage of Urban Slow City is that you can do both camping and water sports!

In summer you can enjoy wakeboarding, boating and other water sports on the Bukhangang River 🌊 It's a place where you can enjoy camping and water sports at once, so it's especially popular in summer 🔥

The 24-hour store: what you can buy on site

The convenience store at Chuncheon camping site Urban Slow City operates 24 hours!! 😲🙌 Snacks, drinks, alcohol, firewood, towels — everything you'd need for camping is well stocked, so even if you forget something, you can worry less at this camping site haha 😊

💡 However, they don't sell meat, vegetables, rice, seasonings, etc.! The nearest mart is Namsan Nonghyup Hanaro Mart (1 hour round trip), so I'd recommend bringing your ingredients ahead of time 😊

Kids' play area: trampoline, slide and sandpit

There's a trampoline, slide, sandpit and other spaces set up for kids, making it perfect for family camping in Chuncheon too!! 😊 While the kids play happily, parents can relax and enjoy camping too 🙌

Shared facilities at Urban Slow City: showers, sinks, recycling

Overall, the camping site facilities were clean and the spaces were nicely decorated, and I could really feel that the owner is sincere and meticulous about maintenance! I think this really came through especially in the shared facilities!

The shared showers are set up so each person can use one individually! 😊 They even provide shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, so I didn't need to bring my own 🧴 They're luxurious and stylishly designed shared showers, so you can come out feeling refreshed after camping!

Washing-up sinks and shared fridge

The sinks are also kept clean and they provide dish soap!! 😊 Campers all know how important sink cleanliness is at a camping site, right?! No worries here 🙌

Recycling and rubbish area

I haven't been to that many camping sites, but I think this had the cleanest recycling area I've seen! It seems like they tidy it up on a schedule, because it wasn't messy even at check-out time, so I could throw away trash comfortably!
