Euljiro rooftop bar for rainy nights under an awning: Another Level

I've been hunting for outdoor-seating spots before the nice weather ends, and Another Level in Euljiro was so good that I ran straight here to write it up 🏃‍♀️

Where is Another Level in Euljiro, and when is it open?

Another Level is at 11 Euljiro 12-gil, 4th floor, Jung-gu, Seoul, about a 5-minute walk from Exit 10 of Euljiro 3-ga Station. It's open Monday to Saturday, 17:00–24:00, and closed on Sundays.

3rd-floor indoor seats or the 4th-floor rooftop: where to sit?

Among Euljiro's popular spots, Another Level is famous for its rooftop outdoor seating! You can choose between indoor seats on the 3rd floor and the rooftop on the 4th, and of course I picked outside 🙌 You can't skip an Euljiro rooftop on a nice day, right?

It was quiet at first, so I got a relaxed seat, but right after I ordered the place filled up. Yes, Euljiro hotspots really are different 😆

What is the 4th-floor rooftop at Another Level like?

The 4th-floor rooftop at Another Level has a rooftop vibe that works for both dates and get-togethers with friends.

The rooftop atmosphere was seriously great. It has that retro, hip Euljiro feel, and the view over Euljiro from the roof was so pretty 🥰

It was perfect for a date or for going with friends. The mood alone lifts your spirits, you know!?!

What we ordered at Another Level and how it tasted

This time I ordered spicy ttukbaegi pasta (₩22,000; pasta in a Korean earthenware pot) and chicken lollipops (₩21,000) as snacks for my beer. The food came out quickly after ordering, so there was no waiting.

🍝 Spicy ttukbaegi pasta (₩22,000)

I picked the spicy ttukbaegi pasta while looking for something to go with beer! The spicy, deep seafood-based broth soaks right into the noodles, and it's the kind of dish you keep eating. The bread served alongside was really good dipped in the broth too 🍞

🍗 Chicken lollipops (₩21,000)

The sauce on the chicken lollipops was unusual, like mayonnaise mixed with herbs. I'd never had that combination, and I was surprised at how good it was! The chicken was juicy and tender, and dipped in the sauce it was a perfect match for beer 😋🍺 And again, it came out fast after ordering, so no waiting, which I loved!

Can you enjoy the Another Level rooftop on a rainy day?

Yes! When it rained on the rooftop that day, a staff member put up an awning so we could keep enjoying the outdoor seating while staying dry. They also asked first whether we wanted to move indoors.

While we were eating, the wind kept blowing like rain was coming, and eventually drops started to fall 😅 A staff member asked if we wanted to go inside, but it looked like it would stop soon, so I said we were fine.

And then they put up the awning for us! 🙌 With the awning up, we stayed dry and still had the full outdoor-seating mood. Sitting under it, listening to the rain with a beer, was a different kind of charm 🌧️ ☔️

Outdoor seating you can enjoy even in the rain: isn't that so youthful and romantic?! That moment still stays with me as a lovely memory 🥹
