Euljiro bar for a second round with DIY gin tonics: Another Level

Another Euljiro bar post! After Dalmaji Plaza (달맞이광장), we went looking for a place for round two and found one with light snacks and fruit dishes, so we headed straight over. Another Level has its hall on the 3rd floor, and the 4th floor is an entire rooftop that is really well done!! Here's my honest review of Another Level!

How do you get to Another Level?

Another Level is close to Euljiro 3-ga Station, so it's easy to reach, and it's a good distance for a round two after eating at Dalmaji Plaza like we did. Once you're nearby, look up and you'll spot this sign.

Then just follow the signs on the wall! At the start of a little alley you'll see this door. Go in, take the elevator, and head up to the 4th floor.

Right when you step out of the elevator, there's a door like this.

Another Level's indoor hall and rooftop atmosphere

Open the door and this is the vibe of the hall. The weather was so nice that everyone had gone to the outdoor seats on the rooftop?!

To reach the rooftop, go up one flight of these stairs. There's a restroom on the way up, and it's really clean!!!

The rooftop was packed. The twinkling rooftop lights are so pretty 🥺 I think around 8 pm is the best time to come. It was super hot during the day, but it cooled down at night.

Is it good for a big group dinner in Euljiro?

The rooftop at Another Level also has group tables for 10 or more, so it looked great for a group get-together or company dinner. There were actually lots of groups of 10+.

The view from up top ✨ So nice, with a cool breeze~~ seriously the season for outdoor drinking >< haha But we wanted something quieter, and we'd already done the outdoor thing, so after looking around we went back down to the hall. Next time we'll use the rooftop,,

Another Level menu: what drinks and snacks are there?

The drinks at Another Level included lots of whisky, highballs and wine, plus draft beer, bottled beer, soju, non-alcoholic options and more.

There's a wine discount event going on too, so wine lovers, come while it's cheaper. The snack selection was varied as well. There were plenty of light round-two snacks, fruit, salads and cheese, and also heartier dishes like nurungji-tang (scorched rice soup), yukhoe (beef tartare), chicken and pasta. So much variety!!

Here's what we ordered. Six of us kept it simple with light, fruit-focused snacks.

• Jamón melon ₩21,000
• Fresh fruit & Greek yogurt ₩25,000
• Lemon slices / tonic water / Saero (soju)

Another Level's complimentary snack and self-made gin tonic

First, the complimentary snack. I'd never seen it before: a mild, bland cracker, kind of like a rice cake puff..? It's so mild that it's nice to grab one or two haha.

We made gin tonics with Saero + tonic water + lemon slices. Everyone was too full for beer.

Another Level's jamón melon: how sweet was the melon?

The jamón melon (₩21,000) came out first! The plating is so pretty haha. Even a sprinkle of cheese powder on top.

It was reeeeeally good. The melon's sweetness is insane. The best melon I've had this year, super soft and sweet T_T Every bite was precious.. Sweet melon with salty ham together is heaven. It didn't seem sweet from being soaked in syrup, they just seem to use really good melon. You have to try it 🥺♥

Another Level's fresh fruit and Greek yogurt: a good palate cleanser for round two?

Next, the fresh fruit & Greek yogurt (₩25,000). A big assortment of bite-sized fruit came out: banana, orange, apple, gold kiwi, chamoe (Korean melon), cherry tomatoes and grapes. And on one side, thick, creamy Greek yogurt!!

This one was also so fresh and delicious. We were all full and wanted a clean snack to cleanse the palate during round two, and this was perfect. The fruit was really sweet and went so well with the Greek yogurt, so I definitely recommend it..♥

Who is Another Level best for?

I highly recommend this Euljiro bar to anyone who has eaten a big first round and wants a bar with light round-two snacks. With its rooftop outdoor seating and well-done outdoor drinking zone, Another Level is also great for group gatherings and date courses!!
