Seonyudo burger restaurant: crunch chicken in truffle mayo dip, BAS

I went to BAS Burger, right outside Exit 4 of Seonyudo Station. It's normally a spot I love for its handmade burger style, and this time I rode a Ttareungyi (public bike) from the National Assembly, enjoyed the fall weather along the Han River, and came here to fill my hungry stomach!

BAS Burger Seonyudo hours and parking

BAS Burger Seonyudo is open daily from 8:00 AM to 9:30 PM, but there's no parking, so you'll need to use the Yangpyeong 2-dong public parking lot. It's super accessible, so I'd highly recommend it if you want something simple to eat.

I snapped this right when the crowd had suddenly cleared out, and a delivery driver ended up in the shot too, haha. There was a ton of delivery and takeout going on!

A vibe that's great for eating alone

The inside of BAS Burger Seonyudo has that foreign burger joint style, which somehow made everything taste even better. I wanted a beer, but since I had work the next day, I held back and just ordered burgers, haha. The seating is exactly the kind of setup that's perfect for solo dining. I think guys living alone who often eat burgers solo would really love this place.

What I ordered solo, and the prices

I sat by the window. The lighting is so nice it feels like a proper dinner. I sat down and calmly looked over the menu, and figured anything with the word "double" in it would be more filling and delicious. So here's what I ordered:

• Crunch Chicken — ₩6,000
• Truffle Mayo Dip — ₩1,500

A sauce made with truffle, my favorite thing?? That lineup alone got my hopes way up. I was starving and just waited for it all to come out, haha.

Unlimited potato chip refills

BAS Burger includes free unlimited potato chip refills as a default, so you don't even need to order fries!!

Salty with a nice plainness to it too, so the wait for the burgers didn't feel that long.

How the Double BAS Burger and Double Bacon Cheeseburger tasted

You can tell at a glance these are handmade burgers made with fresh ingredients. I ordered the BAS Burger since it's the basic, signature item you have to try, and since I love a burger packed with vegetables, it was so good! It's stacked so high it can be hard to eat in one bite, but you really should try to get everything in one bite so the ingredients mix together — that's when it's most delicious, haha.

The Double Bacon Cheeseburger, true to being a cheeseburger, is much more about the thick, savory patty than vegetables. Combined with the gooey cheese, it's the menu item that feels most like a classic handmade burger. Overall, I think this suits people who prefer handmade burgers where you can really taste the meat, rather than franchise burgers with thin patties and strong sauce flavors. The double patty items especially make for a pretty filling meal, so I think satisfaction would be high if you visit on a hungry day.

The Crunch Chicken and Truffle Mayo Dip combo

I ordered the Crunch Chicken because I love fast-food-style chicken, and it went so well with the cheeseburger I ordered that it made me really happy, haha. It's moist and crispy at the same time — so good, I recommend it!!! And the real highlight is this truffle sauce, ugh. Dip the potato chips, the crunch chicken, and the burger all into it generously, and it's genuinely heavenly!

If I go again

If you live near Seonyudo Station and want a good spot for solo dining or a quick beer-and-snack run, definitely check out BAS Burger Seonyudo! It's close to the station and perfect when you want a meal that's not too heavy. Next time, I'd definitely add the Truffle Mayo Dip and try a different burger too. The combo of fries dipped in truffle sauce worked way better than I expected, so I'll probably order it again on my next visit. I did hesitate over the Crunch Chicken since the portion felt small for the price, but the taste was satisfying enough that I'd just add it again next time.
