Today's spot is BAS Burger, a Seonyudo Station favorite~~ I remember this location used to be a fried chicken place, but it's now a handmade burger spot!! There's only one burger place near Seonyudo Station, so I was so happy, and it's even a handmade burger,,,,💕 It's right in front of Seonyudo Station, so it seems perfect for taking out and picnicking at Seonyudo Park!!!

Inside BAS Burger Seonyudo and how the table kiosk ordering works

BAS Burger Seonyudo's store is long and narrow toward the back, but there were more seats than I expected. If you visit with several people, you can push the inner tables together, so it shouldn't be too inconvenient even in a group. There's also a restroom inside, which is nice.

Surprisingly, there's a kiosk at every table, and there's also a dedicated takeout kiosk at the counter!! Instructions for ordering takeout are written above it too, so it seems easy to use even on a first visit.

Are the potato chip refills free? Dine-in only at BAS Burger Seonyudo

Another strength unique to BAS Burger — unlimited potato chip refills!!! For takeout you have to buy them separately, but if you're eating in the store you can freely help yourself to chips. There's also a variety of sauces — ketchup, mustard, salt & pepper — so you can eat according to your taste~_~

Since BAS Burger cooks after you order, you have to wait a bit, but I came right at opening so I got mine quickly. I kept hearing delivery notification sounds and it looked busy at lunchtime, so it really does seem like a Seonyudo favorite. As for sauces, customers who order sets or fried items can pick whichever sauce they like, so feel free to grab some!

I was so hungry after working out that day that I generously ordered sides too!! A solo meal and solo beer at Seonyudo after a while 😇😇😇

When the food is ready, instead of a staff member calling you, the kiosk screen tells you it's ready. The screen color changes completely so you can notice right away even if you're doing something else!!! You check it and go to the counter to pick it up.

Apple Cider plus the coleslaw side swap

After working out, you really need at least one beer... This Apple Cider was sweeter and lighter than regular beer, good for easy drinking. It felt a bit like Somersby, so even people who aren't great drinkers could probably enjoy it fairly comfortably! Paired with the burger, it cut through the richness nicely, so the combo was pretty good. Personally, when I order a side I swap fries for coleslaw, and the coleslaw here comes in a generous portion and tastes refreshing, exactly my taste. Since the burger is on the heavier side with meat + cheese + bacon, the coleslaw pairing was definitely the right call👍

How the Double Bacon Cheeseburger tasted, and was it salty?

True to a handmade burger, the patty was thick and the meat flavor really came through. At a lot of handmade burger places the seasoning tends to be strong, and you often end up feeling it's too salty, but this one wasn't overly salty at all, unexpectedly. The seasoning was just right!!! Patty, cheese, and bacon together is, well,,, an unbeatable combo, and with the seasoning nailed too, I kept eating bite after bite ㅠㅠ

There were so many sides that I only took a little of the potato chips!! And the Mozza Cheese Bar stretches soooooo long~~ It's really delicious dipped in ketchup too!!

Is BAS Burger Seonyudo comfortable for solo diners?

Overall the burger portion was plenty, and with the sides too I ate really full. I usually eat two hamburgers, but with a side and a beer on top, one set alone was more than enough. It seems like a good place to go when you want a handmade burger around Seonyudo, or when you want to eat solo and have a light beer! Next time I go on a picnic date at Seonyudo Park, I'm planning to take out a burger hahaha
